  • Patent number: 11106544
Abstract: A remote agent for providing data protection services includes persistent storage and a backup manager. The persistent storage stores lifecycle policies. The backup manager updates an asset catalog using an asset map associated with a virtual machine; generates a lifecycle policy of the lifecycle policies using the asset catalog; and generates a backup for the virtual machine using the lifecycle policy. The lifecycle policy prioritizes generating the backup for the virtual machine over generating a second backup for a second virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 11108635
Abstract: A system may include a database disposed within a remote network management platform, a server device disposed in the platform, and a client device. The database may contain representations of configuration items, such as computing devices and software applications associated with the managed network. The server device may provide a graphical user interface including a sequence of panes to the client device. The sequence of panes may include an identifier pane, an identification rules pane, and a reconciliation pane. Each pane may include data entry fields that are operable to define a new class of configuration item. • Patent number: 11106864
Abstract: An article is automatically augmented. The article and one or more comments are received. Comment elements are extracted from the one or more comments, and article elements are extracted from the article. Alignment scores are generated for comment-article pairs based on the extracted comment and article elements. Further, it is determined that at least one comment-article pair has an alignment score at or above a threshold alignment score. At least one augmentation feature is then generated.

  • Patent number: 11106848
Abstract: This application discloses a computing system implementing an automatic test pattern generation tool can generate test patterns to apply to a reversible scan chain in an integrated circuit. The reversible scan chain can be configured to serially load and unload the test patterns in multiple directions to generate test responses. The computing system can implement a defect diagnosis tool to detect a presence of a suspected defect associated with the reversible scan chain based on the test responses, identify which of the multiple directions used to load and unload the test patterns corresponds to the suspected defect in the reversible scan chain based on the test responses, and determine a portion of the integrated circuit to inspect for a manufacturing fault corresponding to the suspected defect based, at least in part, on the identification of which of the multiple directions corresponds to the suspected defect in the reversible scan chain.

  • Publication number: 20210260766
Abstract: A control server controls a dual-arm robotic manipulator (DARM) for handling deformable objects in a stack. The control server receives a set of images of the stack captured by a set of image sensors, and determines a contour of the stack based the set of images. Based on the contour and historical data associated with the deformable objects in the stack, the control server determines a sequence of actions to be performed by the DARM for handling a first deformable object in the stack, and controls the DARM to handle the first deformable object by communicating a set of commands corresponding to each action in sequence of actions. The first deformable object is handled such that original form factors of the first deformable object and the remaining stack are maintained.

  • Publication number: 20210266762
Abstract: For carrier's that have a large number of user equipment (UE) devices camped on them, the experience of a user equipment devices that utilize a subscriber prioritization identity (SPID) can be of a lower quality than it would be on another lower priority carrier because of the carrier load. Thus, SPID based UEs can be placed on carriers with the best throughput potential in the uplink. To achieve this, a SPID profile for the SPID based UE can be dynamically changed such the SPID based UE can transition to a carrier of better quality. UE devices are grouped per SPID ranges and each SPID has assigned cell carrier priority. In one embodiment, a system optimization network can monitor and detect UE performance on each cell and determine which cells are underperforming and which cells are performing better than other cells.

  • Publication number: 20210266801
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to prioritize cells that support EN-DC over similar cells not supporting EN-DC. The UE may be configured to perform one or more measurement scans associated with cell selection and/or cell re-selection and may determine whether at least two LTE cells meet a selection criteria based on RSRP and/or SNR measurements. The UE may be configured to, in response to determining that at least two LTE cells meet the selection criteria, prioritize a first LTE cell of the at least two LTE cells over a second LTE cell of the at least two LTE cells based, at least in part, on support EN-DC. The first LTE cell may indicate support of EN-DC, e.g., via a ULI IE included in a SIB2 broadcast by the first LTE cell. The UE may be configured to select the first LTE cell for camping.

  • Patent number: 11097272
Abstract: According to an example, a microfluidic apparatus may include a fluid slot and a foyer that is in fluid communication with the fluid slot via a channel having a relatively smaller width than the foyer. The microfluidic apparatus may also include an electrical sensor to measure a change in an electrical field caused by a particle of interest in a fluid passing through the channel from the fluid slot to the foyer, an actuator to apply pressure onto fluid contained in the foyer, and a controller to receive the measured change in the electrical field from the electrical sensor, determine, from the received change in the electrical field, an electrical signature of the particle of interest, and control the actuator to control movement of the particle of interest based upon the determined electrical signature of the particle of interest.

  • Patent number: 11099891
Abstract: A method for execution by a request scheduler includes receiving a set of requests for execution from at least one request issuer. Resource requirements are determined for each of the set of requests, and current resource availability data is determined for resources indicated in the resource requirements. Scheduling data is generated for the set of requests based on the resource requirements and the current resource availability data. A first subset of the set of requests are added to a queue in response to the scheduling data indicating the first subset of the set of requests be queued for execution. Execution of the set of requests is facilitated in accordance with the scheduling data by facilitating immediate, simultaneous execution of a second subset of the set of requests and by facilitating serial execution of the first subset of the set of requests.

  • Patent number: 11102526
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for selectively replacing commercials that are in a video data stream with alternative commercials. Automatic content recognition (ACR) is performed on the video data stream to detect the identity of each of the commercials played in a commercial block during a commercial break. Commercials in the video data stream which are detected as being displayed on a video display device are stored in a first database, and commercials in the video data stream which are detected as not being displayed on the video display device are stored in a second database. A rules engine defines how commercials in the video data stream should be replaced with other commercials. Commercials in the video data stream that were previously detected as being displayed on the video display device are selectively replaced with commercials that were previously detected as not being displayed on the video display device.

  • Patent number: 11100704
Abstract: A computer system maintains structure data indicating geometrical constraints for each structure category of a plurality of structure categories. The computer system generates a virtual 3D representation of a structure based on a set of images depicting the structure. For each image in the set of images, one or more landmarks are identified. Based on the landmarks, a candidate structure category is selected. The virtual 3D representation is generated based on the geometrical constraints of the candidate structure category and the landmarks identified in the set of images.
