  • Publication number: 20210250768
Abstract: A telecommunications service provider's real time analysis system analyzes communications data to detect potentially fraudulent communications data, where the analysis is performed in real time in the routing path of the communications data. The communications data may include calls (e.g., SS7, VoIP, etc. based calls) and messages (e.g., SMS, MMS, etc.). The real time analysis system rejects potentially fraudulent communications data and non-fraudulent communications data in order to be used in real time in the routing path of the communications data. A rejection by the real time analysis system may cause non-fraudulent communications data to still be sent to the intended destination of the communications data. The real time analysis system can be in the routing path of the communications data without further routing non-fraudulent communications data traffic to the next appropriate hop in the routing path.

  • Patent number: 11086826
Abstract: Examples described herein include virtualized environments including a virtualized file server. Examples of secure domain join processes are described which may facilitate joining a virtualized file server or portions thereof to a domain. In some examples, the secure domain join process itself, and/or an associated file server virtual machine, may have insufficient credentials to write objects into an active directory. The active directory credentials need not be shared with the file server virtual machine. Rather, in some examples, the secure domain join process may provide a user system with a list of actions to be performed using active directory credentials.

  • Patent number: 11086754
Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable optimization of a developing application to a user base. More specifically, application-centric data is gathered during a cultivation phase of the developing application. Substantially concurrently with the cultivation phase of the developing application, the application-centric data is analyzed according to static code of the developing application, a testing of the developing application, or a user experience (UX) design of the developing application. A machine learning model is applied to the analyzed application-centric data. This machine learning model is trained on historic application feedback data from applications available to the user base. Based on the machine learning model, a recommended change to optimize the developing application to the user base is generated.

  • Publication number: 20210243141
Abstract: Techniques for described for invoking a chatbot in a chatbot system, in response to an event notification from a software application. The event notification can be sent to the chatbot system based on the software application determining that one or more conditions associated with an event are satisfied. In certain embodiments, the event notification contains information indicating a dialog flow state for starting a new conversation between a particular chatbot and a user. The event notification can also identify the user and/or the particular chatbot. In some instances, a prompt is output to the user requesting the user to confirm a start of the new conversation. Whether the prompt is output or not can depend on whether there is an existing conversation between the user and a chatbot in the chatbot system.

  • Publication number: 20210236143
Abstract: The present jig for guiding placement of femoral component of the implant in a knee replacement surgery (J) is a pre-assembled Jig (J) which ensures precision fit femoral implant for knee replacement based on difference of cuts in millimeters instead of the usual angle measurement in degrees. It avoids intrusion of the intramedullary canal substantially decreasing the risks of embolism. It enables the surgeon to use precise values of depth of cuts obtained from a system for obtaining optimum fit implant as described in patent application number 3896/MUM2015. This enables the surgeon to control precisely the placement of the implant in terms of flexion or extension, varus or valgus, internal or external rotation It also enables precise placement of the fourin-one cutting block simultaneously with the distal femur cut; ensuring precise placement of knee femoral component of the knee implant. This reduces efforts and time taken during the surgery.

  • Patent number: 11078766
Abstract: An artificial lift system has a surface pump operated by a prime mover powered by a variable speed drive. A jet pump disposed downhole in tubing receives pressurized power fluid from the surface pump, mixes the power and production fluid and delivers the product uphole. A controller disposed at surface adjusts the artificial lift system relative to a set value based on a measured discharged pressure or a measured flowrate and trends a change in the other of the measured flowrate or the measured discharged pressure over time. The controller can also trend an operating condition (intake pressure vs. production rate) to determine changes relative to cavitation conditions. Based on the trended changes, the controller initiates an operation in the artificial lift system, such as adjusting the discharge pressure, initiating an alarm condition, etc.

  • Publication number: 20210234793
Abstract: Both wireless communication and communications via a cable modem are supported between a network node and a customer premises. Alternative communications links provide redundancy and the possibility to take advantage of the different types of links capacity to provide a level of service that would not be possible using a single communications link to a customer premises. In various embodiments a network node, such as a cable network node hubsite, has an optical connection to the Internet or another communications network and provides network access to one or a plurality of customer premises. The network node includes a wireless access point, e.g., pole mounted base station, as well as one or more cable modem interfaces to thereby allow for both wireless and cable modem based communications. This allows for packets of different applications to traverse different links and/or to switch between links in the event of maintenance or reliability issues.

  • Publication number: 20210228991
Abstract: A structure adapted to carry one or more persons is disclosed. The structure includes a sliding surface mounted on a supporting structure at a predetermined angle, wherein the sliding surface includes a first passage, a transition passage and a second passage. The first passage is configured to be connected with the second passage via the transition passage. The first passage and the second passage have decreasing radius of curvature towards the transition passage, thereby reducing oscillation amplitude of a person and guide the person towards a second opening. The person is tangentially launched onto the lager diameter of the first passage and is guide onto the second passage via the transition passage and is guided to an exit. The structure provides for an increased travel time.
