    Abstract: Methods for determining cache activity and for optimizing cache reclamation are performed by systems and devices. A cache entry access is determined at an access time, and a data object of the cache entry for a current time window is identified that includes a time stamp for a previous access and a counter index. A conditional counter operation is then performed on the counter associated with the index to increment the counter when the time stamp is outside the time window or to maintain the counter when the time stamp is within the time window. A counter index that identifies another counter for a previous time window where the other counter value was incremented for the previous cache entry access causes the other counter to be decremented. A cache configuration command to reclaim, or additionally allocate space to, the cache is generated based on the values of the counters.

    Abstract: Examples of block acknowledgement negotiations are described. In an example, a request to establish a BA session is sent by a first computing device (first device) to a second computing device (second device). A timer for receipt of a response to the request is initialized. A BA successful response is received by the first device after the timer has timed out. A request to terminate the BA session is sent by the first device to the second device. After sending the request to terminate the BA session, BA negotiation is reinitiated by the first device based on an updated inactivity timer, so that there are greater chances of successfully establishing a BA session. In an example, if the second device ignores the request to terminate the BA session then it sends a BA reject response to the first device.

The network orchestrator further transmits a first command to a first branch gateway and a first headend gateway to establish a WAN uplink tunnel to forward data traffic of the extended VLAN. The network orchestrator further transmits a second command to a set of branch gateways of the branch gateway cluster to establish intracluster tunnels with the first branch gateway.

    Abstract: An access point of a network configured to derive basic service set identifiers (BSSIDs). The access point determines a base media access control (MAC) address associated with an access point. The access point computes an offset for at least one radio of the access point. The access point determines a radio-specific MAC address for the at least one radio of the access point by incrementing the base MAC address by the offset. The access point then derives a plurality of BSSIDs for the at least one radio of the access point based on the radio-specific MAC address. In some cases, the access point determines a radio from which a BSSID is provided based on the BSSID.

Introduced herein is a game controller that employs a dedicated input, which is capable of the absolute accuracy of a mouse input or trackball input, but is also capable of measuring how far off center the input is (e.g., how far off center it has moved), and can also return to center when released, as is present in a joystick input. The introduced game controller integrates a touch sensing trackball to enjoy the benefits of both the mouse type input and joystick type input, in a single dedicated input, providing a user freedom to play any type of game without worrying about the compatibility of their game controllers.

    Abstract: A method of forming a semiconductor device with a metal pillar overlapping a first top metal interconnect and a second top metal interconnect is disclosed. The metal pillar overlapping the first top metal interconnect and second top metal interconnect is connected to the first top metal interconnect by top metal vias while the second top metal interconnect does not contain top metal vias and remains free of a direct electrical connection to the metal pillar. The metal pillars are attached directly to top metal vias without a bond pad of metal. The elimination of the bond pad layer reduces the mask count, processing, and cost of the device. In addition, the elimination of the bond pad results in reduced die area requirements for the metal pillar.
