  • Publication number: 20230133809
Abstract: A method of traffic forwarding and disambiguation through the use of local proxies and addresses. The technique leverages DNS to on-ramp traffic to a local proxy. The local proxy runs on the end user's device. According to a first embodiment, DNS is used to remap what would normally be a wide range of IP addresses to localhost based on 127.0.0.0/8 listening sockets, where the system can then listen for connections and data. In a second embodiment, a localhost proxy based on a TUN/TAP interface (or other packet interception method) with a user-defined CIDR range to which the local DNS server drives traffic is used. Requests on that local proxy are annotated (by adding data to the upstream connection).

  • Publication number: 20230138805
Abstract: Embodiments determine event, e.g., performance degradation, security breach, etc., occurrence based on telemetry data. An embodiment receives telemetry data, e.g., data based on an HTTP transaction, and a rule associated with the telemetry data. The rule defines one or more filters for processing the telemetry data. In turn, a rule engine is modified in accordance with the received rule. The received telemetry data is processed with the modified rule engine to determine event occurrence.

  • Patent number: 11640542
Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to system architectures, and, more particularly, to a method and system for system architecture recommendation. In existing scenario, a solution architect often gets minimum details about requirements, hence struggles to design a system architecture that matches the requirements. The method and system disclosed herein are to provide system recommendation in response to requirements provided as input to the system. The system generates an acyclic dependency graph based on parameters and values extracted from an obtained user input. The system then identifies a reference architectures that matches the requirements, and further selects components that match the architecture requirements. The system further selects technologies considering inter-operability of the technologies. Further, the system generates architecture recommendations for the user, based on the selected components, and technologies.

  • Patent number: 11639670
Abstract: Systems and techniques that facilitate predictive core rub diagnostics are provided. A sensor component can collect real-time operation parameters of a gas turbine engine. An analysis component can statistically combine first values, second values, and third values to yield a rub indicator for the engine. The first values can be based on a first comparison of fundamental mode placements of the engine, derived from the real-time operation parameters, and baseline fundamental mode placements. The second values can be based on a second comparison of a vibration spectrum of the engine, derived from the real-time operation parameters, and a baseline vibration spectrum. The third values can be based on a third comparison of the real-time operation parameters of the engine and baseline operation parameters. A classification component can generate a rub classification report indicating presence of rubbing in the engine, based on the rub indicator.

  • Publication number: 20230129536
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to method and system for identifying static analysis alarms based on semantics of changed source code. The disclosed technique is integrated in the proprietary static analysis tool that identifies semantics of the change and reports only impacted alarms. The method receives source code and a property over variables to be verified for identifying one or more impacted alarms. Further, an incremental analysis based on the one or more change program points are performed to mark one or more impacted functions in the current version of the source code and then generating a data flow analysis (DFA) and a program dependence graph (PDG) for the one or more impacted functions. Further, a change-based alarm identification technique is utilized for the one or more impacted static analysis alarms from the one or more impacted functions in the current version of source code based on semantics of change.

  • Publication number: 20230129647
Abstract: In some examples, a computing system receives an indication of an increased workload portion to be added to a workload of a storage system, the workload comprising buckets of operations of different characteristics. The computing system computes, based on quantities of operations of the different characteristics in the workload, factor values that indicate distribution of operations of the increased workload portion to the buckets of operations of the different characteristics, and distributes, according to the factor values, the operations of the increased workload portion into the buckets of operations of the different characteristics.
