  • Publication number: 20220350888
Abstract: Logic may implement observation layer intrusion detection systems (IDSs) to combine observations by intrusion detectors and/or other intrusion detection systems. Logic may monitor one or more control units at one or more observation layers of an in-vehicle network, each of the one or more control units to perform a vehicle function. Logic may combine observations of the one or more control units at the one or more observation layers. Logic may determine, based on a combination of the observations, that one or more of the observations represent an intrusion. Logic may determine, based at least on the observations, characteristics of an attack, and to pass the characteristics of the attack information to a forensic logging system to log the attack or pass the characteristics of the attack to a recovery system for informed selection of recovery procedures. Logic may dynamically adjust a threshold for detection of suspicious activity.

  • Patent number: 11488162
Abstract: Implementations are described for automatically storing, in a blockchain, metrics that relate to payments. In one implementation, permissions that identify a set of metrics are retrieved from a database. The permissions are stored by a tenant of a multi-tenant system to grant permission to the multi-tenant system to store the metrics for a second tenant. A metric is selected from the set of metrics, based on a determination that a value of the metric is to be updated responsive to a payment in a transaction between the first and second tenants where the payment has been successfully processed. The value of the metric is determined for the second tenant based on data relating to the payment. The value of the metric is stored, in the blockchain, with an identifier that uniquely identifies the second tenant in the blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11487672
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include computer-implemented methods, systems, and computer program products that access a multi-copy scope directory state of a cache memory that indicates a scope of sharing of a cache line in a cache memory system and determine a scope of sharing of the cache line in the cache memory system based on the multi-copy scope directory state, where the multi-copy scope directory state enumerates a plurality of scopes within the cache memory system. The scope of sharing is used to reduce a number of queries to one or more cache memories having a larger scope than a shared scope identified in the scope of sharing. The multi-copy scope directory state of the cache memory is updated based on detecting a change in shared scope of the cache line within the cache memory system.
