  • Publication number: 20220250049
Abstract: A paraffin having 2-8 carbon atoms may be dehydrogenated by contacting the paraffin with metal oxide catalyst(s) to produce light olefins, such as propylene, under certain reaction conditions in a riser, fluidized bed, or fixed-bed swing reactor. The resulting metal oxide catalyst fines contained in the reactor effluent stream formed by the dehydrogenation reaction may be recovered by contacting the reactor effluent stream with a wash fluid to form a catalyst effluent stream that is subsequently slurried and filtered to capture the catalyst fines for potential reuse.

  • Publication number: 20220255826
Abstract: Data chunks sent to a content destination are tracked. It is determined whether content of a portion of an object to be sent to the content destination matches one of the data chunks previously sent to the content destination. In response to the determination that the portion of the object to be sent to the content destination matches one of the data chunks previously sent to the content destination, a source reference to the matching previously sent data chunk where the content destination can locally obtain the content for the portion of the object is provided to the content destination.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, methods, and techniques for an ego vehicle to respond to detecting misbehaving information from remote vehicles are provided. An ego vehicle, in addition to reporting misbehaving vehicles to a misbehavior authority via a vehicle-to-anything communication network, can, take additional actions based in part on how confident the ego vehicle is about the evidence of misbehavior. Where the confidence is high the ego vehicle can simply discard the misbehaving data and provide an alternative estimate for such data from alternative sources. Where the confidence is not high the ego vehicle can request assistance from neighboring vehicles and roadside units to provide independent estimates of the data to increase confidence in the evidence of misbehavior.

  • Publication number: 20220245105
Abstract: A deduplicated storage system is provided according to certain embodiments that uses one or more mechanisms to update the deduplication database and remove records corresponding to data blocks that have been or will be erased from the secondary copies, without using or tracking reference counting values. Some embodiments described herein use a secondary table to identify the corresponding records from the primary table that can be removed and/or moved to another table for storing “zero-reference” data blocks. In other embodiments, the system will then traverse the “zero-reference” table and remove those primary data blocks from secondary storage devices.

  • Publication number: 20220247636
Abstract: This document relates to a process for supporting the management of a variety of types of deployed devices. Administrators utilizing enterprise services can provide generic configuration data using configuration templates, which can be provided to a management server. The management server can then precompute device-specific configuration settings and resolve any conflicts that may arise based on the configuration templates. The configuration templates can also include placeholders for secret values, and once a managed device checks in to the management server, the secret values can be retrieved from an applicable enterprise service and provided to the managed device at the time of applying the configuration template.

  • Publication number: 20220245034
Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods for backing up and restoring related backup data stored in different cloud storage tiers in a cloud storage environment. Backup data generated during a backup job is stored to different cloud storage tiers based on the type of data and a storage policy comprising designations of a first cloud storage tier and a second cloud storage tier. Backup metadata and index data is stored in the designated first cloud storage tier and backup payload data is stored in the designated second cloud storage tier. Designations of the storage tiers are based on the attributes associated with each tier of cloud storage. During restore, the backup payload data is recalled from the second storage tier into the first storage tier where it is used to restore to the destination client or customer.

  • Publication number: 20220247815
Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein reduce or eliminate a communication bottleneck at the storage manager by reducing communication with the storage manager while maintaining functionality of an information management system. In some implementations, a client obtains information for enabling a secondary storage job (e.g., a backup or restore) from a storage manager and stores the information (which may be referred to as job metadata) in a local cache. The client may then reuse the job metadata for multiple storage jobs reducing the frequency of communication with the storage manager. When a configuration of the information management system changes, or the availability of resources changes, the storage manager can push updates to the job metadata to the clients. Further, a client can periodically request updated job metadata from the storage manager ensuring that the client does not rely on out-of-date job metadata.

  • Publication number: 20220245470
Abstract: A system that automatically monitors an application without requiring administrators to manually identify what portions of the application should be monitored. The present system is flexible in that it can be deployed in several different environments having different operating parameters and nomenclature. The present application is able to automatically monitor applications in the different environments, and convert data, metric, and event nomenclature of the different environments to a universal nomenclature. A system graph is then created from the nodes and metrics of each environment application that make up a client system. The system graph, and the properties of entities within the graph, can be displayed through an interface to a user.
