  • Publication number: 20180340969
Abstract: A method for detecting an error in a generator unit which has an electric machine (100) with a rotor winding (110) and a stator winding (120) and a rectifier (130) connected thereto, via which rectifier the electric machine (100) is connected to an electrical system (150) of a motor vehicle, the excitation current (IE) flowing through the rotor winding (110) of the electric machine (100) being plotted and it being concluded that there is an error in the generator unit depending on whether a frequency component (A) of a frequency spectrum of the plot of the excitation current (IE) in a frequency range above a lower speed limit (SW) is larger than a threshold value (S).

  • Publication number: 20180331642
Abstract: A method for determining a speed (nG) of a generator unit which has an electric machine (100) with a rotor winding (110) and a stator winding (120) and a rectifier (130) connected thereto, via which rectifier the electric machine (100) is connected to an electrical system (150) of a motor vehicle, the speed (nG) being determined depending on the plot of an excitation current (IE) flowing through the rotor winding (110) of the electric machine (100). In particular, the speed is determined from a known relationship between the speed, the frequency of the excitation current, the number of pole pairs and optionally the number of phases when there is an error that leads to a constant phase voltage being output.

  • Publication number: 20180304751
Abstract: Method for detecting a state of an electric system (150) in a motor vehicle, said electric system (150) comprising a generator unit that includes an electric machine (100) with a rotor winding (110) and a stator winding (120) as well as a rectifier (130) which is connected to the electric machine (100) and via which the electric system (150) is connected to the electric machine (100); in said method, a decision about the current state of the electric system (150), especially about the availability of a battery (200) of the electric system, is made in accordance with an excitation current (IE) flowing through the rotor winding (110) of the electric machine (100).

  • Publication number: 20180187808
Abstract: A diameter variable hose clamp includes a clamping band having end portions which mutually overlap in the closed condition of the hose clamp. The inner end portion carries a tongue which has a width smaller than the full width of the clamping band, and hooks for closing of the hose clamp. The outer end portion is provided with openings for receiving the hooks, an ear-like tightening device for tightening the hose clamp around an object to be clamped, and an arcuate band portion for receiving the tongue. The arcuate band portion is cut free from the clamping band by longitudinal cuts in forming lateral band webs.

  • Publication number: 20170259970
Abstract: A low-profile clamp consists of a band (20) and a buckle (21) mounted on a first end portion of the band. During mounting, the second and portion (23) of the band (20) which surrounds the object to be fastened is fed through the buckle (21); after tightening the band is locked to the buckle (21) by deformation. The deformation may be done with a plier-type tool which engages the side edges (37) of the second band end portion (23) through lateral windows (36) formed in the buckle (21).

  • Patent number: 9751669
Abstract: In an open hose clamp, the end of the outer one of the mutually overlapping clamping band portions terminates in a tongue. For tightening the clamp, the tongue has a toothed region which cooperates with a toothed region on the inner clamping band portion. The inner clamping band portion has with guide brackets that surround the tongue at least in part.

  • Publication number: 20170191897
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting a fluid leak associated with fluid cooled components in a millisecond anneal system are provided. In one example implementation, a millisecond anneal system can include a processing chamber having one or more fluid cooled components. The system can include a gas flow system configured to provide for the flow of process gas in the processing chamber. The system can include a vapor sensor configured to measure vapor in process gas flowing through the gas flow system for detecting a fluid leak associated with the one or more fluid cooled components.
