    Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide novel methods for performing services on data messages passing through a network connecting one or more datacenters, such as software defined datacenters (SDDCs). The method of some embodiments uses service containers executing on host computers to perform different chains (e.g., ordered sequences) of services on different data message flows. For a data message of a particular data message flow that is received or generated at a host computer, the method in some embodiments uses a service classifier executing on the host computer to identify a service chain that specifies several services to perform on the data message. For each service in the identified service chain, the service classifier identifies a service container for performing the service. The service classifier then forwards the data message to a service forwarding element to forward the data message through the service containers identified for the identified service chain.

    Abstract: A vacuum bag system (VBS) for forming pre-consolidated composite blanks has a blank enclosure for sealing around a periphery of the blank, while leaving a second side of the blank exposed, an articulated forming caul (AFC) with at least two facets, each facet effectively jointedly coupled to an adjacent facet, and having a respective, independently controlled, heater integrated with, or coupled to the facet. The VBS further has a forming enclosure for sealing around a periphery of a tool. The blank enclosure brings the blank and the facets into uniform thermal contact resistance and mechanical contact; and permits the articulated AFC to distribute thermal and mechanical load across the blank during forming, even as the facets move to align to faces of the mold.

    Abstract: In example embodiments, techniques are provided for efficiently labeling, reviewing and correcting predictions for P&IDs in image-only formats. To label text boxes in the P&ID, the labeling application executes an OCR algorithm to predict a bounding box around, and machine-readable text within, each text box, and displays these predictions in its user interface. The labeling application provides functionality to receive a user confirmation or correction for each predicted bounding box and predicted machine-readable text. To label symbols in the P&ID, the labeling application receives user input to draw bounding boxes around symbols and assign symbols to classes of equipment. Where there are multiple occurrences of specific symbols, the labeling application provides functionality to duplicate and automatically detect and assign bounding boxes and classes.

    Abstract: In example embodiments, techniques are provided for using machine learning to extract machine-readable labels for text boxes and symbols in P&IDs in image-only formats. A P&ID data extraction application uses an optical character recognition (OCR) algorithm to predict labels for text boxes in a P&ID. The P&ID data extraction application uses a first machine learning algorithm to detect symbols in the P&ID and return a predicted bounding box and predicted class of equipment for each symbol. One or more of the predicted bounding boxes may be decimate by non-maximum suppression to avoid overlapping detections. The P&ID data extraction application uses a second machine learning algorithm to infer properties for each detected symbol having a remaining predicted bounding box. The P&ID data extraction application stores the predicted bounding box and a label including the predicted class of equipment and inferred properties in a machine-readable format.

One or more of the plastic materials may be reinforced with fibers of glass, carbon, aramid, or another stiffening material to strengthen one or more regions of the boot form. For example, pellets of a first plastic material having a flexural modulus of approximately 190 MPa (e.g., a polyamide elastomer block amide) may be injected into a mold to form a softer upper region of the boot form. And pellets of a second plastic having a flexural modulus of approximately 20,000 MPa (e.g., a Nylon 12 with long glass fibers) may be injected into the mold to form a stiffer lower region of the boot form.
