  • Publication number: 20240362673
Abstract: Systems and methods for using models to optimize suggestions for long-term and short-term goals are disclosed. In one aspect, a method may include receiving input data associated with promotion of a product to one or more target entities, and defining a plurality of temporal goals for attainment based at least in part on the input data. The plurality of temporal goals may be classified into at least two categories of different timescales. The method may further include providing the plurality of temporal goals and a set of constraints to an optimization model comprising an objective function, and using the optimization model to generate a set of multi-dimensional actions with predicted action values for at least a subset of the plurality of channels. The predicted action values can collectively maximize an impact value of the objective function while balancing a feasibility of the plurality of temporal goals with respect to one another.

  • Publication number: 20240249299
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, methods, and computer program products for explaining decision models. An example method may comprise (a) using a decision model to predict an action that a sales representative should take to maximize a target variable, wherein the decision model comprises a plurality of sub-models comprising a channel affinity sub-model and a content affinity sub-model; and (b) applying an explainability model to the decision model to generate one or more predictors or drivers of the output of the decision model, wherein the one or more predictors or drivers (1) are features of the channel affinity sub-model and/or the content affinity sub-model and (2) provide an explanation of an effect of the action on the target variable.

  • Publication number: 20230300292
Abstract: Systems, methods, client devices, and non-transitory computer-readable media are disclosed for enabling video calls which facilitate shared augmented reality (AR) background environments. In particular, the disclosed systems can establish a video call between client devices. In addition, the disclosed systems can enable client devices to segment one or more participants captured via videos on the client devices from captured backgrounds. Moreover, the disclosed systems can enable the client devices to render, in place of the segmented backgrounds, AR background environments to place captured videos of the one or more participants within a shared AR background space to create the perception that the participants of the video call are present in the same location (or setting).

  • Patent number: 11539647
Abstract: Techniques are described that provide a gallery of media files via a messaging application. The messaging application may include one or more messaging threads between a user and one or more other users. The user may share a media file with another user via a message associated with a message thread. The media files may include photographs, videos, links, screenshots, documents, graphic interchange format (GIF) images, and other media content shared between a user and one or more other users. A communication platform may determine that the message includes a media file and may associate the media file with media galleries associated with the user and the other user. The media galleries may enable both users to easily access shared media content and to quickly identify a particular media files of interest.

  • Publication number: 20220277355
Abstract: A health care provider (HCP) engagement engine is disclosed. The HCP engagement engine facilitates effective communication between pharmaceutical sales representatives (medical reps) and HCPs by generating, using machine learning algorithms, messages for the medical reps to send to HCPs. The recommended messages may be sent over a network and may include email messages, text messages, or online chat messages. The recommended messages may be drafted entirely by the engagement engine or may be drafted as addenda to messages already used by the medical reps. The HCP engagement engine uses historical data on actions performed by the HCPs and medical reps, as well as data collected from historical message recommendation events, in order to produce message recommendations.

  • Patent number: 11301879
Abstract: A health care provider (HCP) engagement engine is disclosed. The HCP engagement engine facilitates effective communication between pharmaceutical sales representatives (pharma reps) and HCPs by tracking actions performed by pharma reps to sell products to HCPs, analyzing the actions, and eliminating confounding effects due to inbound and outbound activities. Inbound activities include behaviors performed by pharma reps to the HCPs, while outbound activities are taken by HCPs in response to the inbound activities. Reducing confounding allows the pharma reps to have better information about which behaviors best drive HCP engagement.

  • Publication number: 20200104092
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include methods and systems for sharing content in a group slideshow. A plurality of devices, including at least one host device and one or more participant devices, executes a client application by which users can save and organize a plurality of content items on a server storage system. The host can select two or more content items for inclusion in a group slideshow session. With each selection, the server automatically transmits participant copies of the content items to participants, and the participants' client applications automatically display the content items. The participants can view and interact with (e.g., zoom in, save, edit) their respective copies of the content items. When the host adds more content items to the group slideshow session, the participants can catch up to see the content item that the host is currently viewing.
