  • Publication number: 20200368601
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to devices, systems, and methods for measuring values obtained from one or more sensors installed on a player's tennis racket and/or worn on the player's body, and using those values to calculate various parameters, such as the physical position and motion of the tennis racket. Embodiments may translate the parameters and derive one or more occurrences corresponding to phases of a tennis point or drill and then generate real-time audible, visual, and/or haptic coaching prompts and other related commands and signals, for the purpose of improving a player's motor skills. Embodiments may also send and receive messages to/from other embodiments, thereby permitting a player to interact with other players, coaches, or devices, such as ball machines and cameras.

  • Publication number: 20200341407
Abstract: In an example, a method includes providing a print agent with chargeable particles in a carrier fluid to a print agent concentration apparatus. The print agent may be passed between a conveyor and an electrode, and a potential applied to cause the chargeable particles to be attracted to the conveyor and to form a concentrated layer of particles on the conveyor. An indicator of particle concentration in the concentrated layer may be measured. It may be determined if the indicator of particle concentration meets predetermined criteria.

  • Patent number: 10805247
Abstract: A method and apparatus relates to the operation of a plurality of messaging devices that includes a first device operated by a first group user and remaining devices operated by remaining group users, wherein the first group user and the remaining group users are a plurality of group users communicating with each other in a messaging channel. A private reply requested text message is received in a message channel. The private reply requested text message is entered into a first device from a first group user. The private reply requested text message is transmitted to remaining group users so that the private reply requested text message appears in the messaging channel on the first device and on the remaining devices. Each of the remaining group users may reply to the private reply requested text message in the messaging channel with a respective reply.

  • Patent number: 10712688
Abstract: In an example, a method includes providing a print agent comprising chargeable particles in a carrier fluid to a print agent concentration apparatus (600). The print agent may be passed between a conveyor (604) and an electrode (602), and a potential applied to cause the chargeable particles to be attracted to the conveyor and to form a concentrated layer of particles on the conveyor. A proportion of the carrier fluid may be separated from the concentrated layer of particles and a thickness of a remaining layer on the conveyor may be measured. It may be determined if the measured thickness of the layer meets predetermined criteria and, if not, an operational parameter of the print agent concentration apparatus may be adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20200104092
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include methods and systems for sharing content in a group slideshow. A plurality of devices, including at least one host device and one or more participant devices, executes a client application by which users can save and organize a plurality of content items on a server storage system. The host can select two or more content items for inclusion in a group slideshow session. With each selection, the server automatically transmits participant copies of the content items to participants, and the participants' client applications automatically display the content items. The participants can view and interact with (e.g., zoom in, save, edit) their respective copies of the content items. When the host adds more content items to the group slideshow session, the participants can catch up to see the content item that the host is currently viewing.

  • Publication number: 20200027100
Abstract: A health care provider (HCP) engagement engine is disclosed. The HCP engagement engine facilitates effective communication between pharmaceutical sales representatives (pharma reps) and HCPs by tracking actions performed by pharma reps to sell products to HCPs, analyzing the actions, and eliminating confounding effects due to inbound and outbound activities. Inbound activities include behaviors performed by pharma reps to the HCPs, while outbound activities are taken by HCPs in response to the inbound activities. Reducing confounding allows the pharma reps to have better information about which behaviors best drive HCP engagement.
