    Abstract: A sport ball arresting structure may be characterized in one aspect as including an inflatable quadra-pod mounted on a substantially rectangular flexible planar base for placement on the ground. The quadra-pod includes four legs formed, when the quadra-pod is inflated, by two criss-crossed inflatable tubes forming a dome. The tubes are criss-crossed at a vertex of the quadra-pod. Lower ends of the four legs are mounted to the four corners of the base, one lower end per corner. A flexible net is mounted within the dome so as to drape completely across the interior of the dome and parallel to an entrance to the structure defined by a front pair of legs and a front edge of the base.

Another cap assembly mates with the reseal housing, sealing an interior face of the reseal housing. Another removable cap provides access to the interior face. A reseal element is mechanically retained between the reseal housing and cap assembly.

    Abstract: A method for monitoring and diagnosing the status of a battery in an electrical system, more particularly, a method for determining a battery's reserve time based on comparison of measurements made during a battery discharge to a universal normalized discharge curve. Specifically, a battery discharge is initiated and the battery's voltage and discharge time is continuously measured. The measured battery voltage is normalized by dividing it by either the peak voltage or foothill voltage, as monitored during the discharge. By comparing this normalized voltage measurement to a universal normalized discharge curve, the percent discharge level of the battery is determined. Using the percent discharge level and the discharge time, the reserve time and total capacity of the battery can be determined.

    Abstract: One or more inflatable tubes are used to support a self-erecting tent. If two or more tubes then they may have at least one cross over criss-crossed in the manner of conventional domed tent poles. The tube or tubes are secured or releasably secured to the tent so that the tent is self-erecting as the tube or tubes are inflated. When two or more tubes are employed, the tubes may be connected by an auxiliary tube so that forcing pressurized air into one tube results in all tubes inflating simultaneously. The ends of the tubes are self-sealing so as to accommodate relatively high air pressure within the tube, in the order of 20-30 pounds per square inch inflated pressure, thereby providing a significantly rigid structure from which the tent is suspended.

    Abstract: A battery diagnostic method for monitoring the status of a battery in an electrical system and continuously providing a relatively accurate prediction of battery condition and performance, more particularly, a self-adjusting method for providing the best possible prediction of a battery's reserve time before, during, and after a battery discharge. The method of the present invention utilizes different prediction methods depending on what state the electrical system is in; that is, before, during or after a battery discharge. By determining what state the system is in, the most effective prediction method can be utilized to provide an accurate battery reserve time. By providing a relatively accurate continuous reserve time prediction, the method helps prevent a complete loss of power in an electrical system relying on a battery to supply the system's electrical power.

    Abstract: A process for sweetening high mercaptan content gasoline or other liquid hydrocarbons is disclosed which utilizes aqueous caustic solution. A recycle stream is used to increase the conversion potential by reducing the relative mercaptan concentration of the untreated gasoline. Part of the treated gasoline effluent is recycled to the untreated feed. The treated gasoline has a low mercaptan concentration while the untreated gasoline is high in mercaptans. As the two streams combine, the feed to the unit becomes less concentrated in mercaptan compounds. In effect, the mercaptan concentration of the untreated gasoline has been diluted by the treated gasoline. Nitrogen inhibits the solubility of oxygen into gasoline. Nitrogen present in the recycle stream would create a system high in nitrogen and low in oxygen. By increasing the level of nitrogen, oxygen is limited in its ability to complete the sweetening reaction.
