    Abstract: A magnifier device for magnifying a portable video image produced by a video display device. The magnifier includes a base member connected a magnifier portion connected to and rotatable relative to the base member. The magnifier portion is rotatable to facilitate rotation between a first position adjacent a display window of the video device to magnify a display and a stored position compactly arranged adjacent the video display device. The magnifier device can be securely affixed to the video display device and folded to a compact stored position while attached.

    Abstract: A mounting system for releasably securing a portable electronic device (Preferably a DVD entertainment device) within an automobile. A harness is designed to securely attach the portable electronic equipment to the back of an automobile seat. The harness includes a headrest strap that wraps around the upper portion of the seat, while a second strap wraps around the base of the vertical backrest portion of the seat and is connected to the housing at a third location. The harness is preferably limited to a three-point attachment between each end of the headrest strap and the housing, and a third connection between the housing and the base strap. A crossover strap may be employed to form an intermediate connection between the base strap and the housing.

    Abstract: A modular attachable/detachable speaker system is designed to plug-in to portable electronic equipment, such as a GAME BOY ADVANCE SP®. The invention comprises a base unit and two speakers rotatably attached to a backing panel. The base unit includes at least one plug located on a first side to electronically commnunicate with the host portable electronic device. The base unit also includes a pass through devices on a second side to allow electronic signals and power to pass through the base unit to an auxiliary device, another gaming device or other accessories. Sound-generating signals are channeled from the host portable electronic device, through the base unit, to the backing panel, and further to the two speakers. The speakers provide enhanced stereo sound for the host portable electronic device.

The integrated controller and video display device of the present invention provides two-way interaction with the stand-alone computer device within a single accessory device. The integrated controller and video display device may also incorporate a speaker or headphone jack to deliver additional audio stimulation.

    Abstract: A video game controller for interaction with a computer gaming unit. The video game controller comprises a hand held body, a plurality of buttons logistically positioned for manipulation by a user and the communication cable operatively connected to the hand held body and provided to transmit operation commands to the computer gaming unit in response to manipulation of the operation members by a user. The video game controller further comprises an integrated LED indicator light disposed in the hand held body of the controller for illuminating in response to a connection between a communication cable and the computer gaming unit. When the cable is inserted into a receptacle on a computer gaming unit and a connection is properly formed, a LED light formed in the hand held body of the controller will light in response to a voltage across a voltage supply line.

The lighting assembly comprises a base portion for mounting to the user-selected area, a pivotable extension, and a pivotable light portion with a light source. The light source is selectively directed toward a user selected area for illumination and may be pivoted between a working position where light source is adapted to be directed toward the user selected area and a storage position where the light source is housed within a recess formed in the extension. A rechargeable battery pack provides electric power and the light source may be a fluorescent light bulb.
