  • Patent number: 10536513
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for opening files via local applications. A first application on a local device receives a request to open a document specified by a user via a user interface associated with the first application, the document having a document identifier and associated with a first file stored on a server, the request comprising the document identifier and a user identifier. The first application forwards the request to open the document associated with the first file to a second application on the local device, and receives, from the second application, a list comprising one or more document processing applications that are on the local device and are capable of opening a second file that is stored on the local device and has the same document identifier as the document specified by the user, the second file being a local copy of the first file.

  • Publication number: 20190392663
Abstract: A method for operating a motor vehicle locking system for a motor vehicle. A central server device receives an unlocking signal having an unlocking instruction about unlocking of at least one closing device of the motor vehicle. The central server device adds a conditional locking instruction to the unlocking signal, which includes after at least one predetermined duration T after unlocking of the at least one closing device of the motor vehicle, checking for a connection criterion and, in the case of an infringed connection criterion, locking the at least one closing device again. The unlocking signal having the unlocking instruction and the added conditional locking instruction is transmitted via a communication connection to a motor-vehicle-internal control device of the motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9606176
Abstract: Some embodiments provide an integrated circuit (“IC”) with a primary circuit structure. The primary circuit structure is for performing multiple operations that implement a user design. The primary circuit structure includes multiple circuits. The IC also includes a secondary monitoring structure for monitoring multiple operations. The secondary monitoring structure includes a network communicatively coupled to multiple circuits of the primary circuit structure. The secondary monitoring circuit structure is for analyzing the monitored operations and reporting on the analysis to a circuit outside of the IC.

  • Patent number: 9583190
Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) that includes content addressable memories (CAM) is described. A CAM receives a key and searches through entries stored in the CAM for one or more entries that match the key. If a matching entry is found, the IC returns a storage address indicating a memory location at which the matching was found.

  • Patent number: 8833606
Abstract: A device for mixing and applying a substance includes a syringe barrel, a plunger, a shaft, a mixing surface, and a locking device. The syringe barrel is preloaded with one or more components of the substance and is enclosed by a seal. The plunger has a plunger body that is displaceable within the syringe barrel, and a dispensing surface. The shaft within the plunger body has a first end and a second end, and is positioned to extend through and from the plunger body. The mixing surface is attached to the first end of the shaft. The locking device enables the mixing surface to alternate between an extended position and a retracted position. In the extended position, the mixing surface projects from the dispensing surface to promote mixing of the substance. In the retracted position, the mixing surface is retracted through the dispensing surface into the plunger body.

  • Publication number: 20120045088
Abstract: An image is processed to encode a digital watermark, with different regions thereof processed using different levels of watermark intensity. In an image comprised of elements of differing sizes (e.g., halftone shapes of different sizes, or lines of different width), the different regions can be defined by reference to the sizes of elements contained therein. Regions characterized by relatively small elements can be watermarked at a relatively low intensity. Regions characterized by relatively large elements can be watermarked at a relatively high intensity. A variety of other features are also discussed.
