  • Publication number: 20220375601
Abstract: Artificial intelligence based systems and methods for analyzing user-specific data to predict user-specific skin or hair conditions. User-specific data of a user is received at a scalp and hair analysis application and defines a scalp or hair region of the user including last wash data of the user and at least one other factor of the user. An artificial intelligence based learning model, trained with training data regarding scalp and hair regions of respective individuals, analyzes the user-specific data to generate a scalp or hair prediction value corresponding to the scalp or hair region of the user. The application generates, based on the scalp or hair prediction value, a user-specific treatment designed to address at least one feature based on the scalp or hair prediction value of the user's scalp or hair region.

  • Patent number: 11483372
Abstract: Artificial intelligence-based systems and methods are described for interacting with individuals via a web environment. A provisioning server is configured to receive a request from a web browser, executing on a client device, for a predefined imaging code stored in a memory of the provisioning server. The provisioning server responds to the request by transferring the predefined imaging code to the web browser. The predefined imaging code is configured to be executed by the client device to load, into a memory of the client device, one or more images of an individual; and determine, based on image analysis of the one or more images of the individual, one or more personal attributes of the individual.

  • Patent number: 11401791
Abstract: A method and system enable injection of gas into an underground formation, enhanced by the simultaneous injection of liquid. Mixing of the gas and the liquid that have been separately injected into a well comprising two coaxial cylinders can occur at different levels in the well in order to facilitate the flow and to limit the gas pressure necessary for reinjection at the wellhead. Thus, the system and the method require less energy and the associated gas compression equipment is less expensive. The method and system can be applied to geothermal energy applications, underground gas storage, notably CO2, or to enhanced recovery in petroleum reservoirs.

  • Publication number: 20220207419
Abstract: An apparatus for processing seismic data variables comprising a tracking module and an interpretation module. The tracking module selects groupings of subsurface data variables from the seismic data variables, selects a subsurface data variable for each grouping, and determines an isochron variable for each subsurface data variable for each grouping. Each grouping of subsurface data variables has spatial coordinates values. The interpretation module predicts a horizon variable for each grouping using the isochron variable and an algorithmic model or trained algorithmic. The interpretation module predicts a horizon variable using the isochron variable for each grouping and a trained algorithmic model. The tracking module selects the subsurface data variable for each grouping based on a peak, trough or zero-crossing identified in the grouping.

  • Patent number: 11284910
Abstract: A therapeutic ultrasound system transmits a staggered or interleaved pattern of therapy beams for use in sonothrombolysis and other Vascular Acoustic Resonators (VAR) mediated therapy. The inventive technique minimizes VAR, e.g. microbubble, destruction due to adjacent beams, ensures uniform sonication of the targeted region by filling in the spaces between the beams in subsequent passes, and further provides a means for bubble replenishment to maximize the clot lysis from ultrasound. The technique is also applicable to diagnostic ultrasound, VAR mediated drug delivery and blood brain barrier opening.

  • Patent number: 11243389
Abstract: A method is used for optical scanning of at least one object region placed on a transparent specimen holder. The method is as follows: for each sample lateral position of plural predefined sample lateral positions performing a focus determination by: performing laser reflection and using a first camera taking plural first images to determine a reference distance between the specimen holder and an objective lens; performing transmission flash illumination and using a second camera taking plural second images to define a focus distance taking into account the reference distance; after completing the focus determination, determining a focus distance topology across the object region based on the focus distances determined for ail sample lateral positions; and laterally moving the specimen holder and acquiring third images while focusing according to the focus distance topology.

  • Publication number: 20220019933
Abstract: A heat flow modeler preprocesses geological and heat flow data for an earth formation for inputting into a plurality of supervised learning models. The heat flow modeler trains the plurality of supervised learning models on the preprocessed geological data to estimate heat flow throughout the earth formation. The heat flow modeler interpolates the estimated heat flow values to a set of desired locations in the earth formation and cosimulates the preprocessed heat flow values with the interpolated heat flow values as auxiliary variables to generate a cosimulated heat flow map. A final heat flow map is generated by rasterizing the cosimulated heat flow map.
