  • Patent number: 11481854
Abstract: Global positioning system (GPS) receivers, along with a user device with a camera, can be used to determine an elevation of a point of interest on or within a structure. The user device and a first GPS receiver can be located somewhere outside the structure from which the structure is clearly visible. A second GPS receiver can be located on, within, or near the structure. The user device receives location data from both GPS receivers and calculates a distance between the two. The user device then takes a digital photograph in which structure is visible and notes the photo capture angle. The user device then calculates the elevation of the point of interest trigonometrically using the calculated GPS distance and the photo angle. The user device can then automatically insert this information into associated documentation and transmit the same.

  • Patent number: 11468198
Abstract: A server system for digital media processing may receive two digital media assets and information associated with capture of the two digital media assets, such as metadata or sensor data from the respective times of capture of the two digital media assets. The server system verifies that the two digital media assets and associated information are unaltered, and that the second of the two digital media assets is captured after the first. The server system then generates a document that incorporates the two digital media assets, such as an insurance claim document.

  • Patent number: 11455896
Abstract: A base module may be used to receive and house one or more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) via one or more cavities. The base module receives commands from a manager device and identifies a flight plan that allows a UAV to execute the received commands. The base module transfers the flight plan to the UAV and frees the UAV. Once the UAV returns, the base module once again receives it. The base module then receives sensor data from the UAV from one or more sensors onboard the UAV, and optionally receives additional information describing its flight and identifying success or failure of the flight plan. The base module transmits the sensor data and optionally the additional information to a storage medium locally or remotely accessible by the manager device.

  • Patent number: 11385226
Abstract: An assay system is provided of great sensitivity and portability where the presence of a specific target in a sample, as well as its concentration (qualification and quantification) is detected by reason of a potential or voltage in a closed circuit, built up a redox reaction. The reaction is produced by binding a capture moiety to an enzymatic redox reaction partner, allowing the capture moiety to bind to any target in the sample. In a homogenous assay, the method further comprises washing any such bound target. The bound target may be immobilized through use of a second capture moiety. Substrate for the enzyme is then added. The action on the substrate by the enzyme generates electrons, creating a potential across an anode and cathode which may be separated by a membrane.

  • Patent number: 11375294
Abstract: A server system receives a digital media asset captured by a media capture device along with a dataset associated with the digital media asset. The server system generates a modified digital media asset by overlaying or embedding a glyph that encodes information pointing to the network location of the information page onto the digital media asset. A requesting device scans the glyph from the modified digital media asset and decodes from the glyph the information pointing to the network location. The information includes a certification that the digital media and the dataset associated with the digital media asset are unaltered. The requesting device may transmit communications to the server system to indicate approval or disapproval of the digital media asset, or to edit the digital media asset. The server system receives the communication and may modify the information to reflect comments, approvals, disapprovals, or edits.

  • Publication number: 20220151598
Abstract: Provided are tissue repair and sealing devices, and methods for the use of tissue repair and sealing devices, for use in both minimally invasive surgical (MIS) procedures and open, non-MIS procedures to rapidly repair tissue fenestrations and create a pressure-resistant, watertight seal in a tissue barrier. Tissue repair and sealing devices disclosed herein comprise an integrated graft and deployable clasp assembly and an applicator assembly having a clasp retain and release member that is slidably connected to a folded, deployable clasp. The applicator assembly places a graft on a tissue inner surface and a deployable clasp on a tissue outer surface to secure the graft to the tissue inner surface to, thereby, repair a tissue fenestration and create a watertight barrier.

  • Publication number: 20220116511
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating certified images, annotations, and incident reports are disclosed. A media capture device can be used to capture a media asset and related metadata. The image and its metadata can then be certified upon capture so that it can be verified as authentic and unaltered after certification. The certified media asset can then be included in or as a part of an incident report, which may optionally align multiple media assets along a path based on location and time of capture. The report may itself be certified and synchronized with a cloud server system.

  • Publication number: 20220087892
Abstract: The present soft tissue mobilization device has a quick-release bar clamp and various attachments for its jaws that exert pressure on soft tissue to improve mobility. The bar clamp allows for applying sustained and incremental pressure at various angles. The shape of the attachment surfaces that contact the soft tissue are either complementary toward each other, when they are intended to squeeze the targeted soft tissue between them, or to the body structure against which they are intended to press. Combining a more helpful means of generating and exerting pressure with the right surface contours significantly improves the overall effectiveness of the device, diminishes any associated pain and discomfort, and reduces the time necessary to achieve results.

  • Publication number: 20220070330
Abstract: Methods and systems for secure media processing may be used to execute and certify a digital media asset by verifying that the digital media asset is authentic and has not been altered since capture. In some cases, these secure media processing techniques may be used in the mobile certification and execution application and a corresponding server system. The mobile application and the corresponding server system may automatically generate finalized documents upon receiving certified digital media and the corresponding metadata from the users. The digital media and other information from the users may be received while the user is in communication with other users. A biometric and artificial intelligent feature recognition system may be utilized to receive biometric data and verify identity. Data transferred to a secure server are accessible by various parties involved in the certification and execution process to provide transparency.
