  • Publication number: 20180127040
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electric bicycle. The electric bicycle comprises an electric motor for at least temporarily assisting or replacing a pedal operation. Assigned to the electric bicycle are at least two keys equipped with different rights, which differ from each other with respect to operating modes of the electric bicycle permitted in conjunction with a relevant key. • Publication number: 20180111549
Abstract: A method for illuminating a passenger compartment of a vehicle with lighting devices which each contain one or more diffuse and/or indirect light sources. The intensity and color of the light emitted by the light sources being set automatically as a function of specific operating parameters which are influenced by a vehicle occupant. The lighting devices which are respectively spatially assigned to an area of the passenger compartment of the vehicle in which there is a vehicle component with an operating parameter which can be set separately by the driver and which can act on a general operating mode selected by the driver, are actuated in such a way that their intensity and color indicate to the driver whether the current setting of the separately settable operating parameter has a positive or negative effect on the general operating mode selected by the driver.

  • Publication number: 20170167975
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a motor vehicle comprising a dust sensor. The dust sensor is a scattered light photometer according to the disclosure. The scattered light photometer measures the dust load of the air in a region of the motor vehicle in which resuspended or emitted dust has a tendency to occur during travel. In addition, the motor vehicle contains a device for dust reduction, which receives measured data from the scattered light photometer, and decides, on the basis of the measured data, whether measures are to be taken against dust resuspension or dust emission. The device takes corresponding measures if the dust load exceeds a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9468390
Abstract: A sensor for contactless electrocardiographic measurement of a person has at least one electrically conductive, planar electrode having a measurement surface facing the person and a connection surface facing away from the person. An electrical terminal for connection with a measurement apparatus is spaced from the connection surface such that the connection surface is only placed in electrical connection with the terminal when pressure of a required magnitude is applied to the measurement. The electrical connection may be achieved by a switching contact disposed between the electrode and the terminal which is brought into contact with both the electrode and the terminal when the electrode is deflected toward the terminal by the pressure. A compressible material is disposed between the electrode and the terminal to allow tuning of the pressure required to achieve electrical contact.

  • Publication number: 20150251661
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for permitting a performance-enhancing nap in a motor vehicle. When a vehicle occupant requests a nap function, different vehicle parameters are set such that the performance-enhancing nap is promoted and the vehicle occupant enjoying the nap is woken at a specific time. According to the invention, during the nap function at least one physiological parameter of the vehicle occupant is measured, said parameter permitting conclusions to be drawn about the current depth of sleep, irrespective of any macromovements of the vehicle occupant, and the time at which the vehicle occupant is woken is selected by considering the at least one physiological parameter, such that the vehicle occupant is woken as far as possible at a time of light sleep.
