  • Publication number: 20230142419
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes measuring a first number of control qubits in a quantum algorithm, wherein a quantum circuit representation of the quantum algorithm includes a multiple-controlled-NOT gate. In an embodiment, a method includes measuring a second number of ancilla qubits in a quantum computer. In an embodiment, a method includes comparing the first number and the second number to determine an optimum compilation method for a quantum circuit. In an embodiment, a method includes compiling, in response to the comparison determining the second number is greater than one and less than the difference of the first number and 2, a quantum circuit from the quantum algorithm using a hybrid method.

  • Patent number: 11643219
Abstract: This disclosure describes example reconfigurable propulsion mechanisms, example multi-rotor aerial vehicle apparatuses, and methods that may be used to alter the yaw torque polarity produced by one or more propulsion mechanisms in response to a detected loss of thrust produced by another propulsion mechanism of the aerial vehicle. For example, each reconfigurable propulsion mechanism may be configured to move between a normal operating position and a reconfigured operating position. When a reconfigurable propulsion mechanism is in a normal operating position, the yaw torque has a first polarity, such as clockwise. In comparison, when the same reconfigurable propulsion mechanism is in the reconfigured operating position, the yaw torque polarity produced by the propulsion mechanism is reversed and has a second polarity, such as counter-clockwise.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including medium-encoded computer program products, for automatic generation of probe path for surface inspection and part alignment. A mesh model is obtained of at least a portion of a three dimensional model of a part to be manufactured using a computer-controlled manufacturing system. Vertex points from the mesh model are collected to be an initial set of probing points in a three dimensional space of a working coordinate system of the computer-controlled manufacturing system, and filtering out points are filtered out from the initial set of probing points based on coverage of the least a portion of the three dimensional model to produce a final set of probing points. The final set of probing points is provided for use in alignment or surface inspection of the part by the computer-controlled manufacturing system.

  • Patent number: 11646927
Abstract: An OFDM communication system is described that allows different values of D in a single domain where nodes are operating in different portions of frequency bands. For the power-line medium, G.9960 has defined two overlapped baseband bandplans, 50 MHz-PB and 100 MHz-PB. In this exemplary scenario, the level of frequency diversity is different depending on the bandplan, hence providing different header decodibility if D is fixed to 1. If D is fixed to 2, then it increases reliability for the narrowband devices, but may also unnecessarily increase overhead for the wide-band devices. An exemplary aspect is therefore directed to techniques to accommodate different repetitions schemes (D=1, . . . , DMAX and H=1, . . . , HMAX) in a single domain, and still allow devices to communicate with one another where DMAX and HMAX can be larger than 2.
