Abstract: The present invention faces the issues of complexity in currently existing 5G UDR and provides for, in an embodiment, splitting a Data Set, which is currently provided in a 5G UDR for a plurality of NF service consumers, into a plurality of different SBA services, wherein each SBA service is associated with one or more Data Subsets, amongst the Data Subsets associated with the Data Set, and wherein each SBA service is provided for one or more NF service consumer amongst the plurality of NF service consumers. Abstract: A Home Subscriber Server (HSS) stores a service profile corresponding to a subscription of a user in a memory, and configures the service profile with data used by a Serving Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) of an Internet Protocol Multimedia System (IMS) comprising the HSS. The HSS then sets, in the S-CSCF, a timer that controls processing of a service of the user by transmitting the service profile to the S-CSCF. The S-CSCF receives the service profile from the HSS, and uses the service profile to identify a rule comprising a timer value. The S-CSCF then controls processing of the service associated with the user by setting the timer in accordance with the timer value.
