Abstract: The system for foaming milk comprises a container (2) for milk; an air inlet (3); a pump (4), wherein liquid milk is mixed with the air in order to produce foamed milk; and an outlet (6), wherein foamed milk is supplied, wherein the container is a container for powdered milk, and wherein the system for foaming milk further comprises a tank (8) for water and a premixing chamber (9). In the method for foaming milk, the milk is provided as powdered milk and is premixed with water in order to provide liquid milk which is mixed with the air in order to produce foamed milk. It enables a system and method for foaming milk to be provided which achieves the foaming of the milk with a “gel” effect from dehydrated powdered milk, the durability of which is much greater than liquid milk.

Abstract: Bovine milk-isolated powdered exosomes comprise intact exosomes. Nutritional compositions comprise protein, carbohydrate, and/or fat, and exosomes isolated from bovine milk. A method of preparing powdered exosomes comprises centrifuging bovine milk to form a lipid fraction top layer, a whey fraction middle layer, and a first pellet of cells and debris, separating the whey fraction and centrifuging the separated whey fraction to remove additional fat, casein aggregates and debris and form a substantially clear whey fraction, microfiltering the substantially clear whey fraction to remove residual debris, centrifuging the microfiltered whey fraction to obtain a pellet containing exosomes, incubating the exosome-containing pellet in aqueous medium to dissolve the pellet without disrupting exosome membranes to provide an exosome suspension, and drying the suspension to obtain the powdered exosomes.

Abstract: The invention relates to a pro-biofilm coating applied by means of cold atmospheric plasma polymerization of a precursor on a substrate. The coating has a roughness such that it promotes the creation of more than 100% biofilm on the substrate, where the 100% of biofilm is the one as produced on the same substrate being devoid of said pro-biofilm coating. The invention also relates to a method of producing said pro-biofilm coating and a substrate coated with same.

Abstract: Object Management Group (OMG) Data Distribution Service (DDS) DomainParticipants communication methods and system are provided using the Real-Time Publish Subscribe (RTPS) wire protocol over one or more wide area networks (WAN). Three main issues are addressed: Network Address Translation traversal, Changes in IP addresses, and Efficient bandwidth utilization. Embodiments lead to a scalable solution for WAN Connectivity of DDS Applications using RTPS Wire Protocol. This is a connectionless solution that works on top of UDP as the IP transport.
