  • Publication number: 20160000022
Abstract: Biodegradable mulch of the type used in various agricultural applications is made by multi-layer extrusion from a mixture of two compostable biodegradable polymers that comply with the EN13432 standard and that include potato starch, a black masterbatch and biodegradable recycled polymers. The mulch self-degrades in a short period of time, becoming a compostable material that enriches the soil, avoiding the collecting and cleaning tasks that are necessary in conventional mulches.

  • Patent number: 7644656
Abstract: Conventional type liquefier appliance that incorporates an anti-drip system consisting of a “T”-shaped spout seal, besides the inclusion of a series of non-slip strips on the connecting gears between the drive unit and the rotary elements, which enable it to come to a sudden stop without the inertia of said elements forcing them in an upward direction, furthermore the grater disc is not fixed to the drive element by a through-screw but rather said screw is welded to its under side, while in addition the push piston terminates in a concavity which engages the piece to be liquefied during use and wherein said piston may be replaced by a feed hole reducer piston.

  • Publication number: 20040154054
Abstract: Genetic constructs and methods are disclosed for the production, maintenance and control of transgenes in transgenic eukaryotic organisms that undergo meiosis in which pollen or sperm can be outcrossed; this includes: transgenic animals, plant cells, plant tissues and whole plants. More specifically, this invention relates to the control of transgene transmission by male and/or female gametes or gametophytes using a gametophytic sterility trait (GST). The genetic constructs and methodologies of the present invention provide the ability to control the undesired spread of transgenes. In addition, this invention also provides the tools and methodologies to enrich a plant or other eukaryotic genome for dispersed and/or stable transposition events.
