Patent number: 12614540Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for detecting dubbed speech in a media asset and receiving metadata corresponding to the media asset. The systems and methods may determine a plurality of scenes in the media asset based on the metadata, retrieve a portion of the dubbed speech corresponding to the first scene, and process the retrieved portion of the dubbed speech corresponding to the first scene to identify a speech characteristic of a character featured in the first scene. Further, the systems and methods may determine whether the speech characteristic of the character featured in the first scene matches the context of the first scene, and if the match fails, perform a function to adjust the portion of the dubbed speech so that the speech characteristic of the character featured in the first scene matches the context of the first scene.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2024Date of Patent: April 28, 2026Assignee: Adeia Guides Inc.Inventors: Mario Sanchez, Ashleigh Miller, Paul T. Publication number: 20260114281Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to an integrated circuit device, and to heat management and/or electromagnetic interference (EMI) management associated with an integrated circuit device. A device includes a two-phase thermal management device, and a frame coupled to the two-phase thermal management device. The frame includes an opening, and the frame and the two-phase thermal management device define a cavity. The device also includes an EMI shield structure coupled to the two-phase thermal management device via an EMI shield gasket. At least a portion of the EMI shield structure is positioned within the cavity.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2024Publication date: April 23, 2026Inventors: Le GAO, Youmin YU, Nader NIKFAR, Mario SANCHEZ

Patent number: 12488047Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for resolving a meaning of an ambiguous calendar entry and recommending broadcast media based on the meaning. To this end, a media guidance application may detect a calendar entry specific to a user, and determine that the calendar entry is ambiguous with respect to an associated period of time. In response to determining that the calendar entry is ambiguous with respect to the associated period of time, the media guidance application may determine characteristics of the calendar entry and the user, and compute an estimated range of time corresponding to the calendar entry based on the characteristic of the calendar entry and the characteristic of the user. The media guidance application may then generate for display a recommendation of broadcast media based on the estimated range of time.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2024Date of Patent: December 2, 2025Assignee: Adeia Guides Inc.Inventors: Ashleigh Miller, Mario Sanchez, Phillip Teich, Carla Mack

Publication number: 20250352012Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention provides a UV suction door mat that comprises an air duct having an inner and outer portion. The outer portion is configured to come in contact with footwear of a user. The inner portion comprises a UV emitter that emits UV radiation having wavelength in the UV-C region. The inner portion is coupled to a suction mechanism that sucks air in order to remove debris stuck to the bottom of the footwear. The suction is achieved by a vacuum pump connected to the air duct through a hose. The hose is coupled to a container configured to collect the debris, dust, etc. from the footwear. The UV suction door mat of the invention provides the advantage of simultaneous cleaning and disinfecting the footwear. The UV suction door mat may also comprise suitable sensors to activate the UV emitter and the vacuum.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2024Publication date: November 20, 2025Inventor: Mario Sanchez

Publication number: 20240311586Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for replaying content dialogue in an alternate language in response to a user command. While the content is playing on a media device, a first language in which the content dialogue is spoken is identified. Upon receiving a voice command to repeat a portion of the dialogue, the language in which the command was spoken is identified. The portion of the content dialogue to repeat is identified and translated from the first language to the second language. The translated portion of the content dialogue is then output. In this way, the user can simply ask in their native language for the dialogue to be repeated and the repeated portion of the dialogue is presented in the user's native language.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Inventors: Carla Mack, Phillip Teich, Mario Sanchez, John Blake
