  • Publication number: 20210306465
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems, devices, and methods are described for wireless communication. In one example a first wireless signal is received in a first radio frequency spectrum using a first antenna exterior to a building. The first wireless signal is associated with a first wireless protocol. The first wireless signal is converted into a first intermediate signal associated with a coaxial protocol. The first intermediate signal is transmitted to an interior of the building using a coaxial cable. The first intermediate signal is converted into a second signal associated with a second wireless protocol. • Publication number: 20210074026
Abstract: A method and decompression unit for performing decompression to determine image element values from compressed data representing a block of image element values each comprising one or more data values relating to a respective one or more channels. An indication of an origin value for each of the channels is read from the compressed data. For each of the channels, an indication of a first number of bits for representing difference values between the data values and the origin value for the channel is read from the compressed data. For each of the one or more channels, a second number of bits is obtained, wherein representations of the difference values for each of the channels are included in the compressed data using the second number of bits for that channel. The obtained second numbers of bits for the respective channels are used to read the representations of the difference values for the image element values being decompressed from the compressed data.

  • Publication number: 20200143471
Abstract: A decentralized price discovery platform, with bi-directional quotes, is a market for market makers to place quotes attesting to the value of a condition occurring outside of a blockchain, and insuring the value of the condition against movement with a backing value of blockchain tokens. An aggregate consensus value is computed based on the aggregate of all active bi-directional quotes to yield an oracle value that can be used by other participants in the blockchain network for decentralized applications relying on the value of the condition occurring outside the blockchain. The aggregate consensus value is further used to adjust estimated premiums on active bi-directional quotes to fair values such that the aggregate consensus value should converge to the true value of the condition occurring outside the blockchain. Traders fill di-directional quotes to yield consensus trades, providing insurance against price movement, and causing the aggregate consensus value to converge on a true value.

  • Publication number: 20200068240
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided to assist users to locate content of interest based on viewer ratings. First information enabling unique identification of a first user may be processed. Indications of ratings of television programming may be processed, the indications being received from a first media device associated with the first user. Ratings information associated with the first user may be retained in repositories, the ratings information being based on the indications. The first user may be matched to a category that represents a classification of a set of viewers and/or of a set of content based on a set of attributes. Descriptive content indicative of the first user and/or content rated by the first user may be selected and may be transmitted via the network to a second media device associated with a second user.
