  • Publication number: 20170290679
Abstract: Spinal implants are disclosed. One spinal implant includes a support body, an articulating element, a blocking member and a motion limiting member. The support body includes a superior end surface and a lower end surface having teeth. In between the superior end surface and the lower end surface is a recess formed in a sidewall of the support body for receiving the articulating element. The blocking member can be received in the recess to prevent inadvertent back-out of the articulating element from within the recess. The articulating element can articulate in one or more directions, thereby allowing articulation of the spinal implant into a desired position within a disc space.

  • Patent number: 9779120
Abstract: A native data collection component may be implemented as a tool, appliance, application and/or utility, and including physical and/or logical implementations thereof. The native data collection component may be responsible for data orchestration, data collection, and aggregation and distribution of collected data from among multiple sources. Accordingly, the native data collection component may be independent of a particular data source and act as an independent performance characteristic collection mechanism. In an embodiment, the native data collection component may include three devices/sub-components: a data orchestration device, a data collection interface and a data aggregation and distribution device. Each sub-component may be service based and communication with each service may be done using state-less protocols.

  • Patent number: 9752411
Abstract: A downhole activation assembly includes a housing that is operatively connectable to a downhole tool and that has a passage for flow of fluid therethrough. An indexing assembly is positionable in the housing, includes a multiple position indexer and an indexing tube, and is operatively connectable to the downhole tool. A sleeve valve includes a fixed sleeve portion and a movable sleeve portion that is positionable in the housing passage and defines a ball passage therethrough. A valve seat in the sleeve valve is configured to receive the ball such that the flow of the fluid is selectively restricted through the ball passage. The movable sleeve is engagable with the indexing tube to selectively shift the indexer between multiple positions whereby the downhole tool is selectively activatable.

  • Patent number: 9732573
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a downhole activation assembly for activating a downhole component of a downhole tool positionable in a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The activation assembly includes a housing operatively connectable to the downhole tool, a piston slidably positionable in the housing with a chamber defined therebetween, and a valve. The piston has a flow channel therethrough. The valve is positionable about the flow channel of the piston, the valve comprising a fixed plate and a rotatable plate. The rotatable plate is movable about the fixed plate to define a variable bore to selectively restrict flow through the flow channel and to vary pressure about the piston whereby the piston is selectively moved to shift the downhole component between activation positions.
