  • Publication number: 20200349055
Abstract: A data processing device includes persistent storage and a software development manager. The persistent storage stores a code repository. The software development manager generates commit impact information based on: pre-commit code for a code base stored in the code repository, and dependency data based on committed code of the code base; displays a pre-commit analysis graphic user interface (GUI) reflecting the commit impact information and testing information for the pre-commit code; obtains, using the displayed pre-commit analysis GUI, reviewer feedback regarding approval of the pre-commit code; makes a determination, based on the reviewer feedback, that the pre-commit code has been approved; in response to the determination: performs limited testing of the code base based upon the dependency data to obtain testing results; and commits the pre-commit code to the committed code when the testing results match a predetermined behavior.

  • Publication number: 20200297507
Abstract: A joint spacer therapeutically maintains separation of bones of a joint. A carriage is slideably retained within the frame and has at least one ramped surface. An actuator screw is threadably engaged with the frame, and rotatably connected to the carriage, to cause the carriage to slideably move within the frame when the actuator screw is rotated. First and second endplates engage the bones of the joint, and each has at least one ramped surface that is mateable with the ramped surface of the carriage, whereby when the carriage is slideably moved by rotation of the actuator screw, the endplates ramped surface slides against the carriage ramped surface to cause the endplates to move along an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the frame, to increase the height of the spacer. Piercing elements are connected to the carriage to pierce bone of the joint when the carriage is moved.

  • Publication number: 20200271293
Abstract: A decorative ornament powered by a vertical axis wind turbine. The turbine includes blades that rotate about a centrally located vertical shaft. An LED illuminated globe is centrally located within the rotating blades and is secured atop the shaft. An alternator is located below the globe and is coupled to the rotating blades. The blades are shaped having a leading cupped section joined to a lagging airfoil section. The leading cup section is defined by a cup radius r and the lagging airfoil section is defined by an airfoil chord length CL. The cup radius r and chord length CL both decrease towards the terminal bottom and top ends of the blade. Also, the airfoil section is located a radial distance Cd from the vertical axis and the radial distance Cd decreases towards the terminal bottom and top ends of the blade.

  • Publication number: 20200271089
Abstract: An improved vertical axis wind turbine for generating electric power which includes blades that provide improved performance per unit of surface area. The blades are adapted to rotate about a vertical axis and are shaped having a leading cupped section joined to a lagging airfoil section. The leading cup section is defined by a cup radius r and the lagging airfoil section is defined by an airfoil chord length CL. The leading cupped section and lagging airfoil section extend vertically a distance h between terminal bottom and top ends. The cup radius r and chord length CL both decrease towards the terminal bottom and top ends of the blade. Also, the airfoil section is located a radial distance Cd from the vertical axis and the radial distance Cd decreases towards the terminal bottom and top ends of the blade.
