  • Publication number: 20140195267
Abstract: Techniques for improving the accuracy of medical reports prepared by medical professionals. One technique may entail providing a system to automatically pre-populate a medical report by extracting data from a medical imaging study and pre-populating fields in the report with the extracted data. Another technique may entail providing a system to analyze data values from an imaging study during preparation of a medical report, and to generate alerts if at least one analyzed data value is outside of a normal range. The data extracted for pre-populating and/or the data values analyzed for alert generation may correspond to measurement data and/or calculation data from the imaging study. After pre-populating and/or generating alerts in the medical report, the system may present the report to a medical professional to include his/her impressions of the imaging study. Such techniques may enable medical professionals to more accurately and efficiently prepare medical reports for patients.

  • Patent number: 8770309
Abstract: A tool bar assembly comprises a central section having a pair of pivotal wings each of which comprises pivotal inner and outer wing sections. The sections can be folded into a transport/storage position or unfolded into a substantially horizontal deployed position. In the deployed position, the sections are aligned end-to-end laterally behind a rear end of a movable frame which mounts central section. In the transport/storage position, the central section still extends laterally behind the rear end of the frame, but the pivotal wings have been folded forwardly at the ends of the central section to lie along opposite sides of the movable frame. In each folded pivotal wing, the inner wing section extends forwardly and upwardly at an angle from the central section and the outer wing section extends substantially rearwardly and horizontally from a front end of the inner wing section.

  • Patent number: 8186450
Abstract: A zone tillage tool comprises a tool frame connected by a parallel lift linkage to a tool bar. A fall tillage coulter or dual spring tillage coulters can be carried on the tool frame in advance of a pair of containment coulters. The fall tillage coulter tills soil in a zone that is approximately 7 to 9 inches deep while the spring tillage coulters till 2 to 3 inches deep. The fall tillage coulter includes a plurality of shovel bits located around the circumference thereof at a forward rake angle. The tip of each shovel bit has a generally vertical entry position into the ground due to the forward rake angle. As the fall tillage coulter rotates, the shovel bits rotate around and exit the soil in a generally horizontal position, thereby lifting and loosening the soil without compacting the soil through a series of rearwardly and upwardly directed soil scooping actions.

  • Patent number: 7823807
Abstract: A liquid manure applicator comprises a tank for holding a supply of liquid manure that is distributed onto a farm field through a distributor having a plurality of distribution ports and hoses. The hoses lead to individual distribution tools that include a pair or rotary coulters and a bellows for applying downforce to the coulters. The distributor includes a ring that restricts the size of the solids entering the distribution ports and hoses to something substantially equal to or less than 50% of the cross-sectional area of the hoses. This prevents the hoses from plugging even when small diameter hoses are used to lower the application rates to values more consistent with the needs of a zone tilled field. A rotary chopper in the distributor reduces the size of larger solids until they have been broken up into pieces small enough to pass the restriction provided by the ring.
