  • Patent number: 10902420
Abstract: An advertised incentive system receives advertised incentive configuration information provided by a merchant. The advertised incentive configuration information defines the content of advertised incentive banners. The advertised incentive banners are provided as needed to merchants to display on the merchant's website. Advertised incentive registration information is received from an account holder after the account holder interacts with the advertised incentive banner. Transaction information is received that contains a qualified purchase made by the account holder. The advertised incentive registration and the qualified purchase are matched. A statement credit is issued against the account holder's account and a debit is issued against the merchant's account in the amount of the statement credit.

  • Publication number: 20200303029
Abstract: A method of managing errors in a plurality of storage drives includes receiving, at a memory controller coupled to at least one storage medium in an SSD, a read command from a host interface. The method also includes retrieving, from the storage medium, read data corresponding to a plurality of data chunks to be retrieved in response to the read command, and determining that at least one data chunk of the plurality of data chunks is unable to be read, the at least one data chunk corresponding to a failed data chunk. And in response to determining the failed data chunk, sending to the host interface the read data including the failed data chunk or excluding the failed data chunk. And in response to the read command sending to the host interface status information about all data chunks.

  • Publication number: 20200261715
Abstract: A biostimulator, such as a leadless cardiac pacemaker, including a fixation element and an electrode mounted on a resilient scaffold, is described. The fixation element and the resilient scaffold are coupled to a housing of the biostimulator. The resilient scaffold can support the electrode against a target tissue at a location that is radially offset from a location where the fixation element anchors the housing to the target tissue. A flexibility of the resilient scaffold allows the electrode to conform to a shape and movement of the target tissue when the housing is rigidly fixed to the target tissue by the fixation element. The resiliently supported electrode that is radially offset from the anchor point can reliably pace the target tissue without piercing the target tissue. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 10748149
Abstract: Systems, architecture of the systems, and methods for generating alert message are disclosed. A user enrolls in an alert messaging service. Information that the user provides during an enrollment process are sent into a database. the user performs a transaction using a portable consumer device. Transaction data are sent to a computer apparatus. The computer apparatus accesses the database containing alert customization data. An alert message is generated based on the transaction data and the alert customization data. The alert message is sent to a user device. The systems, resources and processes responsible for performing the transaction and providing the alert messages are separated so that the transaction processing and alert generation are performed in parallel by systems in communication with each other.

  • Patent number: 10733623
Abstract: To automate the redemption of offer benefits, data associating offers and payment accounts is stored in the data warehouse of a first transaction handler. If a payment account to which an offer is associated is in the payment processing network of a second transaction handler separate from the first transaction handler, the system uses a payment processor that is in both the payment processing network of the first transaction handler and the payment processing network of the second transaction handler to communicate with the first transaction handler to detect the authorization request in the payment account that satisfies the benefit redemption requirements of the respective offer and apply the offer benefit to the transaction when the authorization request is detected.

  • Patent number: 10726416
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for conducting a transaction that includes receiving a pseudo account identifier that corresponds to a primary account identifier. The pseudo account identifier may be received at a portable wireless device and may be generated by a remote server computer. The portable wireless device can receive the pseudo account identifier over a first network and provide the pseudo account identifier to an access device. The access devices generally comprises a reader that can receive the pseudo account identifier, and thereafter send a message to request authorization of a transaction. The authorization request message may include the pseudo account identifier and is sent to a payment processing network. The authorization request message is sent to the payment processing network over a second network. The payment processing network may then process the authorization message and return a response that indicates if the transaction is authorized or not.
