  • Patent number: 11032893
Abstract: A driver box for a light fixture includes a first compartment and a second compartment. The first compartment defines a first end of the driver box, and the second compartment defines a second end of the driver box opposite from the first end. The first compartment is pivotable relative to the second compartment. A method of installing a light fixture assembly includes pivoting the first compartment of the driver box relative to the second compartment of the driver box to a first orientation such that the driver box is insertable into an installation opening. • Publication number: 20200400580
Abstract: A hand-held testing device is provided that includes a housing having a cartridge receiving port and a cartridge. An optical detection system in the housing is capable of providing an illuminated electric field useful for Raman spectroscopy. The cartridge may have a sample well. The sample well is loaded with a mixture of water containing the analyte, Raman-scattering nanoparticles and an analogue of the analyte, or a reaction product of the analyte, for example an isotope. In some exemplary methods, a water sample of known volume is mixed with an isotopologue, a colorimetric dye and Raman-scattering nanoparticles. The water sample contains an analyte, for example an aldehyde. Optionally, the analyte may be treated to form a compound reactive with the dye. The amount of the analyte is measured by producing a Raman spectrum of the mixture and performing a ratiometric analysis of the Raman spectrum to quantify the analyte.

  • Publication number: 20200369018
Abstract: A method for fabricating a custom cranial remodeling device for correction of cranial deformities in a subject is described. The method comprises generating a three-dimensional head data file for the subject. Predetermined reference points are identified on the head. The predetermined reference points are utilized to calculate contour lines on the head. A modified head shape data file is generated and juxtaposed with the head represented by the three-dimensional head data file having the contour lines thereon. The modified head shape data file is used to generate a shape for a desired custom cranial remodeling device, the shape having an interior surface to contact the head and an outer surface The contour lines establish peripheral edges for the custom cranial remodeling device.
