Publication number: 20240062223Abstract: According to various embodiments, a system for providing an environmental rating to an entity is disclosed. The system includes one or more processors configured to determine a point in time (PIT) rating. The PIT rating is determined by: receiving an entity-specific unremediated emissions amount for a predetermined period of time; receiving an entity-specific scaling measure for the predetermined period of time; receiving external cost values for each entity-specific unremediated emission; determining an aggregate external cost for the entity based on the entity-specific unremediated emission amount and each associated external cost value; determining an indicative rating ratio based on the aggregate external cost for the entity and the entity-specific scaling measure; comparing the indicative rating ratio to categories in a ratio rating table and select a rating defined by an interval into which the indicative rating ratio falls; and outputting the selected rating.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2020Publication date: February 22, 2024Applicant: Envira, LLCInventors: Praveen VARMA, Henry SHILLING, Mark GOLD

Patent number: 11898587Abstract: A torque-limiting nut is provided. The torque-limiting nut has a washer, a threaded component, and a tool interface. The threaded component has a plurality of detents and the tool interface has a corresponding plurality of recesses and a spring groove. A plurality of engagement members are sized and shaped to fit within the plurality of detents and recesses. An elastic member in the spring grooves provides a compressive force to seat the pins in the corresponding detents to frictionally couple the threaded component and tool interface. When a torque required to rotate the tool interface exceeds a predetermined value, the pin moves against the spring and unseats from the detent such that the tool interface rotates without rotating the threaded component.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2020Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Stemco Products, Inc.Inventors: Larry Seeds, Mark Gold, Herman Goins, Jr.

Publication number: 20060048299Abstract: The present invention is a foot tent bedding apparatus for use with a bed having a mattress and spring. The apparatus further comprise a first panel defined by a inner edge and an opposite outer edge. The first panel extends laterally outward to a predetermined distance from the inner edge to the opposite outer edge. The opposite edge of the first panel is adapted to slide in between a spring and mattress at the foot of the bed. The apparatus further comprises a second panel. The second panel is defined by a inner edge and an opposite outer edge. The inner edge of the second panel forms substantially a right angle with the inner edge of the first panel. The second panel extends laterally upward to a predetermined distance above the height of the mattress to the opposite outer edge of the second panel. The apparatus further comprises a third portion. The third portion is formed along the top edge of the opposite outer edge of the second panel. The third portion has substantially a semi-circle shape.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2004Publication date: March 9, 2006Inventors: Mark Gold, Marjorie Gold
