  • Publication number: 20240062627
Abstract: An outcome determination device includes a controller a random generator configured to determine an outcome from a predetermined number of outcomes. The device includes a display device, which may in the form of a wheel, having a plurality of sectors. A plurality of illumination devices are associated with each of the sectors. The sectors correspond to the predetermined number of outcomes. The random number generator and controller determine an outcome for a game, with the outcome corresponding to one of the sectors. The controller illuminates the illumination device corresponding to the sector that corresponds to the determined outcome. The illumination devices may be illuminated before, during, and/or after determination of the outcome, and may be illuminated in sequence to produce a rotating effect or may be illuminated randomly.

  • Patent number: 11562620
Abstract: Disclosed is a bonus bet system for use with a roulette game or other games as it relates to a player placing a bonus bet on an outcome of the roulette game or the other games. The bonus bet system may include a first outcome determination device, such as a wheel, and a second outcome determination device, such as a second wheel. The first outcome determination device includes a first plurality of outcomes displayed thereon, and the second outcome determination device has a second plurality of outcomes displayed thereon. The first and second pluralities of outcomes may be the same, or the second plurality of outcomes may be a subset of the first plurality of outcomes. When the outcome of the second outcome determination device corresponds to the outcome of the first outcome determination device, a bonus may be applied to successful wagers on the first outcome.

  • Publication number: 20220032169
Abstract: An illuminated outcome determination device includes a controller, a random number generator (RNG), and a carousel including a plurality of sectors disposed around the carousel. A plurality of lights are disposed around the carousel corresponding to the sectors. The sectors may include fixed or removable indicia for different outcomes of a casino game. The RNG determines a winning sectors, and the controller illuminates the winning sector via the plurality of lights to determine the winning outcome that is located at the winning sector. The controller may include a sound module that generates a sound along with the illumination of the lights to mimic rotation around the carousel. The carousel may remain fixed in place with the lights being illuminated in a circle around the fixed carousel.

  • Patent number: 11090551
Abstract: A card shuffler with a card carousel includes a random number generator (RNG) and a controller configured to determine a winning outcome for a casino game. The card carousel may include a plurality of slots or sectors, with the slots or sectors corresponding to an outcome of a casino game. The outcome may be determined in a noiseless manner, where the RNG determines the winning slot or sector. The carousel need not rotate to determine an outcome, and the carousel may therefore be fixed or rotatable relative to the base. A card mechanism may be actuated to eject a card from the winning card slot. A plurality of lights may be disposed around the carousel and may be selectively illuminable to indicate the winning sector. The sectors may include display screens with indicia displayed thereon.

  • Publication number: 20190308095
Abstract: A chip rack assembly for safely storing casino chips that includes a tray and a cover that can be moved relative to the tray between an open position and a closed position. The open position of the cover permits access to the casino chips stored in the tray and the closed position of the cover restricts access to the casino chips stored in the tray. The chip rack assembly further includes a locking assembly having an unlocked condition and a locked condition. The unlocked condition allowing the cover to freely move between the open position and the closed position and the locked condition securing the cover in the closed position and prevents the cover from moving to the open position. The cover comprises either one large panel or a plurality of smaller panels that are hinged together and guided along a track between the open position and the closed position.
