  • Publication number: 20250037817
Abstract: Systems and methods for decreasing risk-adjusted mortality rates, including identifying patient co-morbidity-related clinical data by preprocessing historical patient data based on rules. Identified co-morbidity-related clinical data is displayed using an interactive user interface for validation, and validated results are stored in an electronic health record (EHR) for the patient. Updated co-morbidity-related clinical is identified by concurrent processing updated patient data based on the rules. The updated co-morbidity-related clinical data is displayed using the interactive user interface for further validation. The EHR is iteratively updated with revised co-morbidity data by the postprocessing upon detection of changes to the EHR.

  • Publication number: 20230020904
Abstract: A zero contact double screw and ergonomic double screw housing combination for foodstuff mixers and portioning devices. The system includes a multi-prong support segment at the discharge end of the double screw and double screw housing which connects and secures the double screw to the double screw housing to support and space the double screw apart from the surrounding double screw housing in a configuration which eliminates contact between the outer surface of the double screw and the inner surface of the double screw housing. The housing has an exterior portion with scooped out portions providing for substantially reduced thickness, volume, and mass, while remaining configured to provide durability and longevity of use similar to that of a screw housing that is substantially fully cylindrical throughout its diameter.

  • Publication number: 20090253364
Abstract: A battery operated smoke detection and smoke extraction system for use within a building with walls and ceilings. The system detects the presence of smoke, and provides means to contain fires within the area of origination. The system feeds positive airflow to a fire by extracting smoke into a dedicated ductwork system, whereby it is exhausted outside through the building envelope in a confined manner. The system decreases the possibility of fire back draft occurring. The system is comprised of a modified smoke detector, which activates a fan installed in a multi port manifold. Individual dedicated ducts, each serving individual rooms, are connected to the manifold. Each duct has a ceiling mounted back draft damper, for energy efficiency. The manifold is provided with a chimney and a decorative spark arrestor chimney termination. The system is powered by means of rechargeable batteries within a fireproofed recharging receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20070142303
Abstract: Phthalazinediones that function as intracellular redox modulators are useful in treating cells in various disease states where intracellular redox status is impaired. By buffering aberrant redox states, phthalazinediones enable cellular processes essential for survival and augment medical treatments. The phthalazinediones of the invention can modulate functions related to cell growth, differentiation, activity, or death, to correct aberrations and restore homeostasis, and can serve as adjunctive therapy in treating various disease conditions.
