  • Patent number: 11711068
Abstract: A phase shifter for altering the phase of a radio frequency signal is disclosed herein. A Lange coupler is used having reflective ports that are coupled to artificial transmission lines. The artificial transmission lines provide a reflection transmission path, the length of which can be determined by digital control lines. Transistors placed along the length of the central trace provide independent paths to ground that serve to shorten the electrical length of the ATL. Accordingly, by selectively turning the transistors on/off, the electrical length of the ATL can be selected and thus the amount of phase delay introduced by the phase shifter.

  • Publication number: 20230227856
Abstract: Strategies, systems, compositions, and methods for efficient production of knock-in cellular clones without reporter genes. An essential gene is targeted using a knock-in cassette that comprises an exogenous coding sequence for a gene product of interest (or “cargo sequence”) in frame with and downstream (3?) of an exogenous coding sequence or partial coding sequence of the essential gene. Undesired targeting events create a non-functional version of the essential gene, in essence a knock-out, which is “rescued” by correct integration of the knock-in cassette, which restores the essential gene coding region so that a functional gene product is produced and positions the cargo sequence in frame with and downstream of the essential gene coding sequence.

  • Patent number: 11687437
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for monitoring technology usage and performance. In some implementations, use of a technology item by one or more individuals assigned to use the technology item is monitored. Based on the monitoring, usage data that indicates usage of the technology item is generated. One or more criteria for evaluating the usage of the technology item by the one or more individuals is identified. It is determined whether usage data satisfies the one or more criteria. A system provides, for display on a user interface, output data indicating whether the usage data satisfies the one or more criteria.

  • Publication number: 20230139774
Abstract: Packets in a data communications network are encapsulated by an encapsulation module on a sending computer and decapsulated on the receiver computer, the transmission of data packets being controlled by credit sent by the receiving computer to avoid causing congestion. The encapsulation module varies fields in the packets that are used by switches to determine the path to the destination, so as to distribute the load of a transfer across a plurality of paths to the receiving computer. The sending and receiving computers use per path packet delivery, loss, latency and packet trimming information to detect abnormal network behavior and submit alerts and summary statistics to a monitoring station. The monitoring station uses this information to detect network bottlenecks and other faults and to localize them to specific switches or links.

  • Publication number: 20230129641
Abstract: Systems and methods for the automatic routing of data packets in dynamic networks, wherein at least a portion of a route for a data packet is modeled as a fluid dynamics potential flow characterized by an irrotational velocity field. Each data packet is the analogue of a flow particle, an originating node of the data packet is the analogue of a source, and a destination node of the data packet is the analogue of a sink. Each of one or more nodes intermediate to the originating node and the destination node for a data packet are defined as a stream function (?) which adheres to the definition of irrotational and incompressible potential flow that independently represents a flow phenomenon that can influence the route of the data packet. A route for a data packet is calculated based on its current location and the aggregate stream function comprising the sum of each of the flow phenomena acting on the data packet.
