  • Patent number: 12056434
Abstract: Techniques for generating formatting tags for textual content obtained from a source electronic document are disclosed. A system parses a digital file to obtain information about characters in an electronic document. The system applies tags to text generated based on the textual content of the electronic document by creating segments of textually-consecutive characters and applying corresponding text formatting style tags to the segments. The system further identifies segments of text overlapping bounding boxes in the electronic document. The system generates textual content including a segment of text and a corresponding hyperlink associated with the segment of text. The system further generates textual content by selectively applying line breaks from the source electronic document in the textual content.

  • Publication number: 20240256771
Abstract: Techniques for identifying content in key-value pairs of documents using a graph neural network (GNN) are disclosed. A system trains a GNN to identify key-value pair groupings in documents. The GNN classifies nodes in document graphs as key-type nodes and answer-type nodes. The GNN also classifies edges connecting nodes in the document graphs for keeping in the document graph or removing from the document graph. The resulting document graph includes key-value groupings in the document. Upon identifying content matching a query, a system returns as a query response content from among the key-value groupings.

  • Publication number: 20240246663
Abstract: An aircraft includes a ground maneuver control system that automatically steers a nose landing gear wheel to compensate for asymmetrical braking of the wheels of the aircraft resulting from a failure on one side in comparison to the other. A control system detects such a failure in order to be able to effect such automatic steering. The system may be retrofitted by the installation of software on an existing aircraft, having a braking and steering computer system with a pre-existing steering control functional block and a pre-existing braking control functional block.

  • Publication number: 20240227751
Abstract: A control device for an aircraft is disclosed including a push-button switch that is configured to be held in a depressed position by a pilot during taxiing of the aircraft. The push-button switch is configured to return automatically to a released position if it is not held in the depressed position by the pilot. The control device is configured to output a command for braking to a braking system of the aircraft, if the push-button switch moves to the released position during taxiing of the aircraft and does not return to the depressed position within a set time. The button may be provided on a tiller. A method of detecting on-board pilot incapacitation during an aircraft taxi phase is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240207001
Abstract: A virtual reality system providing a virtual robotic surgical environment, and methods for using the virtual reality system, are described herein. Within the virtual reality system, various user modes enable different kinds of interactions between a user and the virtual robotic surgical environment. For example, one variation of a method for facilitating navigation of a virtual robotic surgical environment includes displaying a first-person perspective view of the virtual robotic surgical environment from a first vantage point, displaying a first window view of the virtual robotic surgical environment from a second vantage point and displaying a second window view of the virtual robotic surgical environment from a third vantage point. Additionally, in response to a user input associating the first and second window views, a trajectory between the second and third vantage points can be generated sequentially linking the first and second window views.

  • Patent number: 12001775
Abstract: A data corpus is partitioned into text strings for header classification. A group characteristic is computed for a text string, and whether the group characteristic satisfies a group characteristic criterion is determined. The text string may be disqualified from header classification if the group characteristic criterion is not satisfied, or one or more font characteristics may be determined for the text string if the group characteristic criterion is satisfied. A font characteristic that meets one or more prevalence criteria may be identified and evaluated to determine whether the font characteristic meets at least one font characteristic criterion. The text string may be disqualified from header classification if the font characteristic criterion is not satisfied, or if the font characteristic meets the font characteristic criterion, the text string is classified as a header, and tagged content is generated by applying a header tag to the text string.
