  • Publication number: 20100042467
Abstract: The system provides a method and apparatus for automatically generating marketing and promotional information for an item for sale. The system tracks sales and offers for sale of similar items and determines the words, images, and descriptions that have been most useful in selling items in the past. The seller is presented with information about descriptions that can maximize price and/or minimize time on the market. The system operates by collecting data from prior sales including selling price, expected selling price, start date, end date, images of item, time of year, geographical region, and a dictionary of terms and phrases used in prior sales. These factors are analyzed and identified as helpful or hurtful in a number of categories, including selling price and/or time on the market.

  • Publication number: 20080115802
Abstract: A cleaning method for improving a wafer surface polluted by metal ions is disclosed. This method is to install an ion change filter in a pipeline, in which deionized water runs, to reduce the number of metal ions to be less than 0.1 ppb, so as to avoid that the metal ions of deionized water remains on the surface of the wafer during the process in cleaning the wafer and diffuses in the thermal oxidation process afterwards to affect the quality of oxide film.

  • Patent number: 7337432
Abstract: A system and method are provided for generating automatic test plans for GUI applications. The method comprises: launching a GUI application under test (AUT); discovering access paths to user interface (UI) elements in the AUT; generating logical access paths to the discovered UI elements; launching a test plan that uses the generated access paths; and, sending test messages to UI elements in the AUT. The method may identify UI element types such as a menu, sub-menu, check box, text box, or variable UI elements. Then, sending test messages to UI elements in the AUT includes sending corresponding test messages such as menu select, sub-menu select, check box select, text box fill, or variable fill command messages. For example, if a variable UI element is identified, sending test messages to UI elements in the AUT includes: sending a command to populate the variable UI elements; and, selecting the populated value.

  • Patent number: 7154622
Abstract: A method and apparatus for flexible control of the routing and processing of documents by a document receiver. Document classifications are defined by a receiver and stored on a registration server together with an associated document processing profile (“DPP”). The receiver communicates to a sender how to access his account on the registration server. The sender views the receiver's document classifications, selects one, and prints a cover page, which includes a document classification identifier. The sender scans the cover page and a source document with a digital scanner and transceiver. The document is sent to recipients and transformed according to the DPP.

  • Publication number: 20050240913
Abstract: A method of generating organizational structure and a method of controlling authorization thereof are provided. The method separates an organization into a plurality of nodes and links, and defines attributes for nodes and links, so as to describe the details of nodes and links, respectively. In case an attribute of some node (link) needs to be modified, the whole organizational structure is automatically modified by only modifying the node (link) attribute without having to sequentially change all attributes.
