  • Publication number: 20110022947
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a system and method for the provisioning of dynamically generated content. One embodiment can interface a content delivery system and a content management system at the fragment level. Depending upon how a page is organized, a fragment may refer to a block within the page, a portion of the page, or a content item presented on the page. When a content item is updated and published onto the content management system, one embodiment of the invention can operate to track dependencies of managed pages and invalidate/validate fragment(s) affected by the change(s) accordingly. The updated fragment(s) may then be dynamically assembled on-the-fly or on-demand. The updated fragment(s) may or may not be cached. In this way, changes made to a piece of content can be reflected in all pages which utilize this content almost simultaneously with the changes to the content itself.

  • Publication number: 20070241581
Abstract: The specification discloses a debris deflector for occupying a gap disposed between, and having a shape and a width at least partially defined by, an automobile seat and an adjacent console. The deflector consists essentially of a resiliently deformable material and has a width greater than the width of the gap. The deflector is capable of reversible compressible conformation to the shape of the gap so as to obstruct the passage of objects into the gap. The specification further discloses a method for using such a debris deflector.

  • Publication number: 20070087377
Abstract: A process is disclosed by which a polynucleotide is directly synthesized from the peptide or protein that it encodes without the need for sequencing (or sequence analysis) of the peptide or protein. Information contained in the sequence of the peptide or protein is directly coupled, by the process of reverse translation, to the synthesis of the polynucleotide. The usefulness of reverse translation is that it facilitates the amplification of information held in the amino acid sequence (the primary structure) of an unknown protein or peptide. Amplification is useful for, among other things, the identification and/or scientific investigation of the peptide or protein.

  • Publication number: 20070083452
Abstract: A security price evaluation and exception reporting system and method evaluate an offer price or executed price for a security, such as a bond. Current offerings, past trades, or other market information related to the bond are selected based on first user selectable criteria. Current offerings, past trades, or other market information related to other bonds are selected based on second user selectable criteria. The second security has similar characteristics, which are user selectable, to the bond. An indication of a price of the bond is generated based on the selected current offerings or past trades and the third and fourth user selectable criteria.

  • Publication number: 20060160246
Abstract: Graphitic nanotubes, which include tubular fullerenes (commonly called “buckytubes”) and fibrils, which are functionalized by chemical substitution, are used as solid supports in electrogenerated chemiluminescence assays. The graphitic nanotubes are chemically modified with functional group biomolecules prior to use in an assay. Association of electrochemiluminescent ruthenium complexes with the functional group biomolecule-modified nanotubes permits detection of molecules including nucleic acids, antigens, enzymes, and enzyme substrates by multiple formats.
