  • Publication number: 20170243206
Abstract: Provided are common user experience for a mobile wallet system and methods. The system may include generally a mobile application operated on a mobile device, a mobile backend, a wallet broker, a point of sale (“POS”), and authorizer(s). The system allows a customer to receive encoded/encrypted data by scanning a code, or by receiving a wireless message, such as a Bluetooth low energy transmission or a near field communication, regardless of the mobile application or operating system. Mobile backend systems translate the messages so the customer does not have to do something different for different mobile applications. The system may alternatively allow a cashier to scan a participating mobile application's code such as a QR code/barcode. Mobile backend systems determine which wallet to communicate with and does so on the POS behalf. The POS is isolated from complexities of integrating with different mobile applications and corresponding backend systems.

  • Publication number: 20170243190
Abstract: Provided are check-in to checkout systems and methods. The system includes a point of sale, a display, a mobile device, and a backend system. When the POS starts a transaction, such as, but not limited to scanning an item, the POS generates a transaction/basket identification. In response to starting the transaction, the POS sends the transaction/basket ID to the display in the form of a QR code or one-dimensional barcode. The mobile device operating a mobile application scans and captures the displayed code and reports to the backend systems. The backend systems then send a check-in event, which includes gathered data by the backend systems, to the POS and the POS acknowledges receipt of the message. At this point, a notification may be sent to the mobile application that the check-in was successful and a link is established far flow of information.

  • Publication number: 20170076555
Abstract: A bingo system having individual bingo player terminals on which players purchase bingo cards at varying costs and play bingo, coupled to backend computer systems called bingo game managers (BGMs). The BGMs manage bingo game play in two modes, banked and non-banked. Non-banked mode forms bingo games from requests at the same wager level, and forms bingo sessions from bingo games where a bingo session uses a single bingo ball draw. Each wager level has at least one prize pool associated with it; each prize pool is constructed such that it guarantees a given percentage hold to an operator and further enables realistic mimicking of highly complex games such as 5-reel 9-payline slots for use in post-bingo-play displays. Banked mode uses no pools; bingo prizes are generated using an RNG and game template or paytable.

The parameters are based on attributes of the transaction, such as transaction value, fund availability, credit availability, merchant type, merchant location, and date. The transaction processes include debit, credit, stored value, installment loan, and other deferred-payment transaction types. Parameters are stored and accessed during a transaction. The appropriate transaction process is determined based on the parameters, and the transaction is processed. A processing platform can be logically connected to a network, banking entity, credit line entity, and a network. The processing platform includes a decision engine, which is logically connected to a decision engine database.

  • Patent number: 9067145
Abstract: A robotic system is integrated with one or more mobile computing devices. Physical configurations of individual components of the system in physical space, or agents, under control of a user or users, are duplicated in a representation in virtual space. Some degree of real-time parity is maintained between the physical and virtual spaces, so as to implement a virtual environment that mirrors the physical one. Events occurring within one environment can directly influence and bear consequence on the course of events occurring within the other environment. Elements of virtual space thereby become truly interdependent and unified on a peer footing with elements in physical space. In at least one embodiment, the system is implemented as an application in entertainment, such as the manifestation of a video game in physical space.
