  • Publication number: 20170060728
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for program lifecycle testing includes receiving a request to test a program update at an interface. Using a processor, the system may then execute a validation test associated with the program update, wherein the validation test is conducted in a testing environment comprising a plurality of testing environment systems. The system may then use the processor to capture a current state of the testing environment at a start of the validation test, and confirm that the plurality of testing environment systems are operating according to the validation test. The system may then use the interface to receive testing results from the validation test and compare the testing results to previous test results from a prior program update. The system may then store the validation test results, the current state of the testing environment, and a name of the program update, in a performance database.

  • Patent number: 9569644
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed towards a method of electronic verification of motion data. This includes collecting a first set of motion data that corresponds to a first set of motion characteristics generated from physically moving a hardware element of a computer ending upon inserting the hardware element of the computer into a computer chassis. This can further include determining an approved set of motion data and comparing the first set of motion data to the approved set of motion data. This can further include determining a difference between the first set of motion data and the approved set of motion data. This can further include determining that the difference does not satisfy a threshold. This can further include executing a reaction sequence in the computer, in response to determining that the difference does not satisfy the threshold.

  • Patent number: 9540304
Abstract: A process for producing an acetic acid product having low butyl acetate content via a carbonylation reaction. The carbonylation reaction is carried out at a temperature from 100 to 300° C., a hydrogen partial pressure from 0.3 to 2 atm, and a rhodium catalyst concentration from 100 to 3000 wppm, based on the weight of the reaction medium. The butyl acetate concentration in the acetic acid product may be controlled by removing acetaldehyde from a stream derived from the reaction medium and/or by adjusting at least one of reaction temperature, hydrogen partial pressure, and metal catalyst concentration.

  • Publication number: 20160371855
Abstract: A Quantified Image Measurement System that creates accurate physical measurement data from digital pictures is disclosed. The system can use any image format and enhances the image file with measurement data and data transformation information that enables the creation of any type of geometrical or dimensional measurement from the stored photograph. This file containing the original digital image along with the supplemental data is referred to as a Quantified Image File or QIF. The QIF can be shared with other systems via email, cloud syncing or other types of sharing technology. Once shared, existing systems such as CAD applications or web/cloud servers can use the QIF and the associated QIF processing software routines to extract physical measurement data and use the data for subsequent processing or building geometrically accurate models of the objects or scene in the image.
