Abstract: A home automation (HA) system may include HA operation devices and HA user interface devices for respective users. Each HA user interface device may be configured to wirelessly communicate with at least one of the HA operation devices. The HA system may also include HA hub devices configured to provide communications for the HA user interface devices and the HA operation devices. A cloud server may be configured to communicate with the HA hub devices, determine a needed maintenance operation for a given one of the HA operation devices, and communicate the needed maintenance operation to the given one of the HA operation devices. The cloud server may also be configured to duplicate communicating the needed maintenance operation to others of the HA operation devices.

Abstract: Dynamic web content personalization may be used to alter a web page such that two different people who view that web page do not see the exact same content on that page. The present disclosure includes techniques that allow a web page to be structured, via underlying source code, so that content can be dynamically generated based on a user transaction history. Further, dynamic content customization can effectively change the layout and functionality of a web page in ways not previously contemplated. For example, different control elements may become accessible based on a particular contextual user profile assigned to a user based on a transaction history. Modular content modules may also have a different appearance for different users.

Abstract: A home automation (HA) system to be used within a structure may include a communications network extending within the structure and HA operation devices within the structure. The HA system may also include HA user interface devices for respective users within the structure and HA hub devices within the structure to provide communications via the communications network for the HA user interface devices and the HA operation devices. Each HA hub device may have a processing capacity associated therewith and determine a shareable processing capacity for sharing with at least one other HA hub device based upon a current processing capacity and at least one of the HA operation devices. Each HA hub device may also communicate the amount of shareable processing capacity to another HA hub device and perform processing operations for the other HA hub device based upon the communicated shareable processing capacity.

Abstract: A system and method receives one or more captured signals through a captured audio path and produces one or more playback signals through a playback audio path. The system and method executes one or more signal processing functions and measures the delays within the playback audio path and captured audio path during operation of the one or more signal processing functions. The system and method stores the measured delays in a memory and compensates the one or more signal processing functions for the playback delay and the capture delay.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes a memory device and a hardware processor. The memory can store multiple locations positioned along a network of streets in a geographic region. The hardware processor can assign some of the multiple locations to multiple territories associated with multiple vehicles by iteratively: determining whether an allocation threshold is met for the multiple territories and, in response to determining that the allocation threshold is unmet for at least two of the multiple territories, assigning one of the multiple locations not yet assigned to the multiple territories to one of the at least two of the multiple territories. In addition, the hardware processor can generate multiple routes connecting the multiple locations for the multiple vehicles so that each of the multiple routes connects the locations of the multiple locations assigned to one of the multiple territories.

Abstract: A concealed communication antenna and lighting feature comprises a mount having base configured to be mounted to a structure and having a circumferentially disposed side wall adjacent the circumference of the base. The outer side wall defining a seat extending a radial distance from the outer side wall to the edge of the base circumference, and an inner wall disposed concentrically within the outer side wall. A plurality of solid state lighting elements adapted to direct light away from the base. A communications antenna is mounted to the inner side wall and a radome is disposed about the antenna and extends above the inner side wall. The radome is closed at an upper end and a lighting feature lens mounted to the outer wall. The lighting feature lens being closed at a top end such that the solid state lighting elements direct light intermediate the radome and the lighting feature lens.

The method further includes comparing the first eco-efficiency characterization to a second eco-efficiency characterization that is associated with a second design of the manufacturing equipment.

Contacts are etched through the PMD layer using the contact masking material pattern to form active contacts and DC's. A patterned metal 1 (M1) layer is formed including first M1 portions over the active contacts and dummy M1 portions over the DC's. Metallization processing follows including forming interconnects so that the active contacts are connected to MOS transistors on the IC, and the DC's are not electrically connected to the MOS transistors.
