  • Publication number: 20160364989
Abstract: A base module may be used to receive and house one or more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) via one or more cavities. The base module receives commands from a manager device and identifies a flight plan that allows a UAV to execute the received commands. The base module transfers the flight plan to the UAV and frees the UAV. Once the UAV returns, the base module once again receives it. The base module then receives sensor data from the UAV from one or more sensors onboard the UAV, and optionally receives additional information describing its flight and identifying success or failure of the flight plan. The base module transmits the sensor data and optionally the additional information to a storage medium locally or remotely accessible by the manager device.

  • Publication number: 20160310063
Abstract: Various embodiments are described herein for a method and a use of a device for detecting gout. The method can include irradiating a portion of the anatomical region through a skin surface using a light source and receiving scattered light from the portion of the anatomical region. The portion of the anatomical region may be subcutaneous. The method further includes determining Raman spectral data from the received scattered light and identifying a plurality of peaks associated with monosodium urate in the Raman spectral data. The method further comprises determining that a monosodium urate deposition is present in the anatomical region when the number of identified peaks associated with monosodium urate is greater than a detection threshold. The method may be performed using a device that includes a light source, an optical detection component and a spectral selection component.

  • Patent number: 9465841
Abstract: The subject technology provides configurations for receiving a query for data stored across data systems in which the query is associated with a user. It is determined if the user has permission to execute an operation from the query at a data in which the operation is executed upon at least one table provided by the data system. The subject technology determines if the operation corresponds to a cache object in a cache registry if the user has permission. Each cache object is owned by a cache manager user. A view associated with the user is created that provides temporary access privileges to the cache object corresponding to the operation in which the cache object includes results of the operation executed in the query and the cache object is owned by the cache manager user. The results of the operation are then provided in the created view to the user.
