  • Publication number: 20250206058
Abstract: A bound collection of leaves having a spine and a method of its manufacture are disclosed. Each leaf of a first plurality of leaves of the bound collection includes a first pattern of tabs by which that leaf is bound. The tabs of the first pattern are distributed along a binding axis of that leaf that is parallel to a spine axis of the spine. Each leaf of a second plurality of leaves of the bound collection includes a second pattern of tabs different than the first pattern by which that leaf is bound. The tabs of the second pattern are distributed along a binding axis of that leaf that is parallel to the spine axis. Each tab of the first pattern and second pattern of tabs extends in a direction orthogonal to the binding axis from within an unbound region to a binding-side edge of that leaf.

  • Patent number: 12317878
Abstract: A system for automated horseshoeing. The system is a three cell concept generally including a tool change area, a gluing area and a modification area. The system generally include a platform for a horse to stand thereon wherein all working components are contained below. The system is configured so that a horse can stand on said platform and the working components move from hoof to hoof thereby allowing the horse to remain in a neutral standing position during the entire shoeing process without having to bend it's ankle. The automated horseshoeing process of the present specification is entirely monitored by a farrier.

  • Publication number: 20250173229
Abstract: Techniques are provided for implementing a persistent memory storage tier to manage persistent memory of a node. The persistent memory is managed by the persistent memory storage tier at a higher level within a storage operating system storage stack than a level at which a storage file system of the node is managed. The persistent memory storage tier intercepts an operation targeting the storage file system. The persistent memory storage tier retargets the operation from targeting the storage file system to targeting the persistent memory. The operation is transmitted to the persistent memory.

  • Publication number: 20250154445
Abstract: The present set of embodiments relate to a bioproduction system, method, and apparatus for creating a scalable bioreactor system. Specifically, the present set of embodiments enable the determination of bioreaction performance characteristics of a commercial scale by matching operational parameters between a small test scale bioreaction to that of a commercial scale bioreaction. The system and methods do not rely on simply making bioreactor apparatuses across scales the same dimensionally which would not account for differences in fluid dynamic properties between very small to very large volumes, but requires tuning of a variety of systems (mixing assembly, sparger system, and headspace airflow system) in conjunction with one another to achieve predictive outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20250059218
Abstract: Compounds, compositions and methods are provided for the inhibition of ENPP1. Aspects of the subject methods include contacting a sample with an ENPP1 inhibitor compound to inhibit the cGAMP hydrolysis activity of ENPP1. In some cases, the ENPP1 inhibitor compound is cell impermeable. ENPP1 inhibitor compounds can act extracellularly to block the degradation of cGAMP. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions and methods for treating cancer. Aspects of the methods include administering to a subject a therapeutically effective amount of an ENPP1 inhibitor to treat the subject for cancer. In certain cases, the cancer is a solid tumor cancer. Also provided are methods of administering radiation therapy to a subject in conjunction with administering an ENPP1 inhibitor to the subject. The radiation therapy can be administered in the subject methods at a dosage and/or frequency effective to reduce radiation damage to the subject, but still instigate an immune response.

  • Publication number: 20250038756
Abstract: Techniques are provided for implementing a file system format for persistent memory. A node, comprising persistent memory, receives an operation comprising a file identifier and file system instance information. A list of file system info objects are evaluated to identify a file system info object matching the file system instance information. An inofile, identified by the file system info object as being associated with inodes of files within an instance of the file system targeted by the operation, is traversed to identify an inode matching the file identifier. If the inode comprises an indicator that the file is tiered into the persistent memory, then the inode it utilized to facilitate execution of the operation upon the persistent memory. Otherwise, the operation is routed to a storage file system tier for execution by a storage file system upon storage associated with the node.

  • Patent number: 12213252
Abstract: A CPU includes a processor die and a substrate. The processor die includes first signal contacts, power contacts, and ground contacts. The processor die is affixed and electrically coupled to the substrate on a first surface of the substrate. The substrate routes the first signal contacts to associated second signal contacts on a second surface of the substrate. The substrate further routes a subset of the power contacts to a power pad on the first surface of the substrate, and routes a subset of the ground contacts to a ground pad on the first surface of the substrate.
