  • Publication number: 20160042456
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for automated call cross trade imbalance execution. Techniques described herein may provide an automated crossing solution for buy-side clients that limits position information to banks and individuals prior to setting a benchmark rate for foreign exchange. In some embodiments, clients may roll forward spot trades with a chosen counterparty bank, which is then sent to a centralized, automated, bank platform. Techniques described herein may offer a multi-bank platform solution that accepts trades, validates trades, performs credit checks, and executes trades in a manner that limits knowledge of position information prior to setting a benchmark rate. Further, proposed techniques include determining a trade imbalance and automatically executing the determined trade imbalance in a manner such that market impact is minimalized.

  • Patent number: 9022403
Abstract: A vehicle front suspension includes a suspension support structure, a transverse link, a front link breakaway structure and a rear link breakaway structure. The transverse link has an inboard side with a front connection structure connecting a front end of the transverse link to the suspension support at a first location and a rear connection structure pivotally connecting a rear end of the transverse link to the suspension support at a second location that is spaced rearwardly of the first location. The front link breakaway structure is configured to release the front end of the transverse link from the suspension support upon application of a prescribed rearward directed force on the vehicle front suspension outboard of the suspension support structure. The rear link breakaway structure is configured to release the rear connection structure of the transverse link from the suspension support upon rearward rotation of the transverse link about the rear connection structure.

  • Publication number: 20150093451
Abstract: Methods are disclosed of the increasing resting metabolic rate of a subject comprising administering a composition comprising a mixture of reduced species and reactive oxygen species, wherein the mixture of reduced species and reactive oxygen species increases the resting metabolic rate of the subject. The reactive oxygen species can comprises at least one superoxide The process of making the composition comprises the steps of purifying water to produce ultra-pure water, combining sodium chloride to the ultra-pure water to create salinated water, and electrolyzing the salinated water at a temperature of about 4.5° C. to about 5.8° C. The electrolyzing is accomplished with an anode, a cathode and a power source. The power source comprises a transformer and a rectifier and does not comprise a filter capacitor. The method can also include contacting at least one cell of the subject with the composition.

  • Publication number: 20140166572
Abstract: Fiber webs that may be coated and used in filter media are provided. In some embodiments, the fiber web is a non-woven web that is coated with a resin comprising fibers. For example, the resin may include fibers that have sizes (e.g., diameters) in the nano or micron range. In some cases, the fibers distributed within the resin are fibrillated fibers. The respective characteristics and amounts of the fibers in the resin may be selected to impart desirable properties including enhanced mechanical properties and filtration properties (e.g., relatively high strength and air permeability), amongst other benefits.

  • Publication number: 20130300740
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for displaying data, such as 3D models, having spatial coordinates. In one aspect, a height map and color map are generated from the data. In another aspect, material classification is applied to surfaces within a 3D model. Based on the 3D model, the height map, the color map, and the material classification, haptic responses are generated on a haptic device. In another aspect, a 3D user interface (UI) data model comprising model definitions is derived from the 3D models. The 3D model is updated with video data. In another aspect, user controls are provided to navigate a point of view through the 3D model to determine which portions of the 3D model are displayed.
