  • Publication number: 20080312945
Abstract: A system and method divides the full undivided or fee simple property rights bundle of an individual property into at least two distinct property titles, each encompassing distinct rights and available to distinct owners. One divided title can be a possessing title that encompasses the single unbundled property right of possession and the second divided title can be a controlling-title that encompasses all unbundled full undivided or fee simple rights to the property other than possession. As a result, transactions that transfer physical possession of the property without transferring other rights that control modifications to the property can be accomplished. The system and method permits other divisions of the full undivided or fee simple property rights bundle to achieve other objectives property owners may desire.

  • Publication number: 20080043660
Abstract: A method for transferring data to a handheld personal electronic device is disclosed. Information is collected from a user of the handheld personal electronic device, and select information from among the collected information is identified as data to be transferred to the handheld personal electronic device. The data is then embedded into a file containing executable code which is adapted to display the data in a predetermined format on the handheld personal electronic device. A message which includes an address to the file stored on a server is sent to the handheld personal electronic device. When the handheld personal electronic device queries the address, the file is transferred from the server to the handheld personal electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20070178673
Abstract: A nanowire, nanosphere, metallized nanosphere, and methods for their fabrication are outlined. The method of fabricating nanowires includes fabricating the nanowire under thermal and non-catalytic conditions. The nanowires can at least be fabricated from metals, metal oxides, metalloids, and metalloid oxides. In addition, the method of fabricating nanospheres includes fabricating nanospheres that are substantially monodisperse. Further, the nanospheres are fabricated under thermal and non-catalytic conditions. Like the nanowires, the nanospheres can at least be fabricated from metals, metal oxides, metalloids, and metalloid oxides. In addition, the nanospheres can be metallized to form metallized nanospheres that are capable as acting as a catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20050236850
Abstract: A bumper system includes a high-strength metal B-shaped beam with miter-cut end sections, a front center energy absorber, and a pair of energy-absorbing end pieces that nestingly engage front outer ends of the beam. By this arrangement, the bumper system with energy absorbers forms an impact system capable of providing good corner impact resistance. The energy-absorbing end pieces act as a low-cost and lightweight extension to the beam, and absorb energy so as to lessen intrusion and decrease the energy that is transmitted into the frame rails of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20040103026
Abstract: A central web server is provided which stores tens or hundreds of thousands of media assets (such as still photographs, video, logos, advertising text, etc.) in a database which can be accessed over the internet by any number of authorised persons, each with a computer using a standard web browser. The central web server is programmed to allow not only the creation of an advertisement on-line through the selection, assembly or modification of appropriate media assets, with a realistic on-screen simulation of how the published advertisement will look, but also the actual delivery of the media assets to for example, a magazine publisher or television station. By integrating the media asset delivery process into the on-line advertisement creation process, a fully integrated system is produced which greatly increases the efficiency of the management and production of advertising campaigns.
