  • Patent number: 11927876
Abstract: A camera apparatus includes a flexible carrier medium formed as a light guide and on which an input coupling region and an output region are disposed. Light, which is incident on the input coupling region from the surroundings, can be input into the carrier medium via the input coupling region. Internal reflection allows the light to be transmitted through the carrier medium from the input coupling region to the output coupling region. At the output coupling region, the transmitted light can be output from the carrier medium and be captured by an image capture device, which is disposed adjacent to the output coupling region.

  • Patent number: 11882260
Abstract: Cost-effective, spatially representative image data is recording in a stereoscopic or photogrammetric image of an environment by a camera apparatus having three holographic-optical elements arranged as coupling regions at different positions on a carrier medium to capture the environment from different perspectives. Light from the environment is coupled by the coupling regions into the carrier medium which provides a light guide that transfers the light to an additional holographic-optical element which provides a decoupling region to decouple the light from the carrier medium. An image capture device captures the decoupled light and produces image data therefrom. A separating device produces the spatially representative image data from the image data by capturing the light incident on the coupling regions in a manner separated temporally or by color.

  • Publication number: 20230367428
Abstract: A method controls a display function of a display apparatus by any input object by a touchscreen. A camera of a recording apparatus creates an image sequence of a user-facing screen surface of the display apparatus. In images of the image sequence, a computing unit of the recording apparatus tracks when the input object is tilted, inclined or rolled away relative to the screen surface. The computing unit searches for a pattern comprising a depth profile in a surface structure of the input object and evaluates a change in the image values relating to a contrast, the definition of the pattern, or, additionally or alternatively, a visible portion of the surface structure in the image sequence. From the change in the pattern or in the portion of the surface structure visible to the camera, the computing unit determines a motion vector of the input object to control the display function.

  • Publication number: 20220214269
Abstract: A spectrometry device includes a carrier medium, or waveguide, for transmitting light by internal reflection, and a transceiver device that has at least one light source and a detection device. A transceiver deflection structure couples at least the light emitted by the light source into the carrier medium. A measurement deflection structure, arranged at a distance from the transceiver deflection structure, decouples the light out of the carrier medium onto a measuring surface of the carrier medium so that the biological tissue can reflect the light back to the carrier medium. The reflected light is transmitted back onto the detection device via the measurement deflection structure, the carrier medium and the transceiver deflection structure. The detection device determines an intensity signal of the reflected light which is used by an analysis device to determine a pulse frequency signal and/or a pulse curve signal as a medical characteristic value.

  • Publication number: 20220206113
Abstract: A light source emits light of a predefined wavelength onto a coupling-in region which has a coupling-in diffraction structure and couples the light into a carrier medium in the direction of a measurement region. The measurement region is a combination of an emission diffraction structure and a receiving diffraction structure. The emission diffraction structure extracts light which has been coupled into a measurement volume to be monitored for reflection at an object outside the carrier medium. The receiving diffraction structure couples the reflected light, which is incident on the receiving diffraction structure from outside the carrier medium, into the carrier medium in the direction of a detector region. The detector region has a detector diffraction structure that routes the light onto a detector apparatus. Then the detector apparatus determines a distance to the object from a time of flight of the light from the light source to the detector apparatus.
