  • Patent number: 8751945
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide tools and methods for the development and specification of a responsive graphical design. A graphical user interface allows a user to specify a design. The graphical user interface has an area for displaying a rendering of the design according to a first dimension specification. The system also has a dimension specification interface that allows the user to set a second dimension specification. The system also has a widget interface that allows the user to (i) add a widget to said design, (ii) specify a first state for the widget when the design is rendered according to the first dimension specification, and (iii) specify a second state for the widget when the design is rendered according to the second dimension specification.

  • Publication number: 20140129476
Abstract: A method and apparatus to exchange leads using a computer is disclosed. A server receives information relating to a first customer of the first user that is a potential customer for a second user and provides the first user with a customer credit. The server transmits to the second user a portion of the information relating to the potential customer and receives an indication from second user of acceptance of the portion of the information relating to the customer by the second user. If the second user has a customer credit in its account, additional information relating to the potential customer is transferred to the second user.

  • Publication number: 20140122223
Abstract: A user can view creative from multiple locations (same laptop) and multiple devices (work computer, home computer, tablet, smartphone). The user can also adjust their privacy settings on their browser to accept or reject cookies and/or have anti-spam/spyware software that regularly deletes cookies. An enhanced counting method uses first-party cookie technology to track users across access channels and across privacy settings on their browser. The non-acceptance and deletion of cookies causes the accuracy of the traditional third-party cookie calculated reach and frequency calculations to vary widely. First-party cookies reduce this variability but are still subject to non-acceptance or deletion so additional actions need to be taken to provide the opportunity for accurate reports. Additional steps to increase the accuracy of reach and frequency reporting are provided.

  • Patent number: 8671352
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for allowing users to specify interactive graphical designs are provided. The graphical designs can comprise multiple dimension versions—such as a tablet dimension version or a phone dimension version. Some of the methods involve an inheritance structure that defines a first dimension version of the design as a child of a second dimension version of the design. Specifications for properties of widgets in the graphical design are applied to the design in accordance with the inheritance specification. Some of the methods involve an inheritance characterization that determines how properties of a widget are affected by the inheritance structure across different dimension versions. Some of the methods involve an existence property for the widgets.

  • Publication number: 20130275272
Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses are presented for using cross-domain communication to allow manufacturers and other sellers to use cloud/Internet-based products catalog services without sacrificing the search-engine optimization benefit of catalog pages hosted within the manufacturer's domain. The Same Origin Policy used by many browsers may disallow direct communication to the manufacturer's domain for corporate web site and other functions, on the one hand, and an external domain for an efficiently hosted products catalog, on the other. Some embodiments present the use of the JSONP protocol for cross-domain retrieval of a Catalog Widget that is configured to retrieve product catalog information directly from the external domain. In these embodiments, search-engine optimization is furthered by the efficient production of numerous catalog pages that originate from the external domain yet appear to users and search engine crawlers to be within the manufacturer's domain.

  • Publication number: 20120170555
Abstract: The invention relates to improving the quality of a received downlink signal in a time division multiple access wireless cellular communications network. The method of the invention comprises measuring a signal quality characteristic at a user equipment and comparing this to a threshold to determine if a desired signal quality level exists. If so then a certain level or type of service on the downlink can be effected. If not, the method comprises identifying an interferer signal or signals and removing at least one of such interferer signals by arranging for it to either not be transmitted on the same TDMA timeslot as the downlink signal or to be transmitted at a lower power, for example, in said timeslot.

  • Publication number: 20120144316
Abstract: A user profile for a user of a social networking system may include experiences, such as work, educational, travel, and interests. The social networking system provides a profile page for a user's user profile that allows the user to tag other users as being involved in or otherwise associated with the user's experiences. Once another user is tagged in an experience, a corresponding tag is added to the tagged user's user profile, and that experience is added as well if not already included in the profile. Tagging users in experiences allows a viewer to see connections between experiences of users of the social networking system and promotes more detailed user profiles that contain experiences.
