Patent number: 11087074Abstract: A system comprises a first workstation that locally instantiates a design tool configured to allow a designer to specify a design for a web page. A data store is locally available to the first workstation, and receives and stores the design as a saved design. A second workstation provides access to a code editor to allow a programmer to specify a modification to an encoding of the design. A server means instantiates the code editor for the second workstation, saves the modification as a saved modification, and serves the encoding of the design in accordance with the modification by combining the saved modification with the saved design. The server means seamlessly combines the saved design and the saved modification such that the saved modification and the saved design can each be independently altered and recombined to produce a modified encoding of the design.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2019Date of Patent: August 10, 2021Assignee: Axure Software Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Victor Hsu, Martin Smith, Samir Hashem

Publication number: 20210081180Abstract: A focused specification for an interactive graphical design is generated by receiving a first user input from a user, the first user input identifying a first design element of the interactive graphical design. A set of selectable data elements associated with the first design element is identified and a specification template that includes the set of selectable data elements is generated. A second user input is received from the user, the second user input identifying a set of selected data elements using the generated specification template. The set of selected data elements includes one or more of the selectable data elements. The focused specification is generated using the set of selected data elements, the focused specification including the set of selected data elements and excluding selectable data elements that were not selected.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2019Publication date: March 18, 2021Applicant: Axure Software Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Victor Hsu, Martin Smith, Robert Gourley

Publication number: 20200401763Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for allowing users to specify interactive graphical designs are provided. The graphical designs can comprise multiple dimension versions—such as a tablet dimension version or a phone dimension version. Some of the methods involve an inheritance structure that defines a first dimension version of the design as a child of a second dimension version of the design. Specifications for properties of widgets in the graphical design are applied to the design in accordance with the inheritance specification. Some of the methods involve an inheritance characterization that determines how properties of a widget are affected by the inheritance structure across different dimension versions. Some of the methods involve an existence property for the widgets.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2020Publication date: December 24, 2020Applicant: Axure Software Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Victor Hsu, Martin Smith, Ian Gardner, Ben Fraser

Publication number: 20200110752Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and systems for processing of sequencing data streams. The system receives sequences from a sequencer and stores them as data records on a database. The sequences are associated with a counter indicative of a number of times the associated sequence has been sequenced. The system progressively receives a further sequence as streaming data from the sequence. While receiving the further sequence, the system matches the streaming data against the stored sequences to determine a matching score. Upon the matching score exceeding a matching threshold for one of the multiple sequences in the database, the system selects the one of the sequences in the database based on the matching score and stores the further sequence on non-volatile memory where the counter value associated with the selected sequence is below a saturation threshold. The system also terminates the receiving where the counter value is above the saturation threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2018Publication date: April 9, 2020Applicant: GARVAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL RESEARCHInventors: Martin SMITH, James FERGUSON, Dennis BUNADI

Patent number: 10485301Abstract: A method is provided for making footwear utilizing a spray-on material. The method can include spraying a spray-on fabric onto surfaces of a three dimensional last. The last can be produced using additive manufacturing techniques, such as 3D printing, based on data corresponding to dimensions and contours of a consumer's foot, and/or preselected aesthetic footwear designs. The spray-on fabric is sprayed onto the surfaces of the last and allowed to cure to form a flexible, non-woven fabric upper. The upper can be removed from the last and turned inside out. With the upper turned inside out, a sole can be joined to the fabric upper to form the footwear.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2018Date of Patent: November 26, 2019Assignee: Wolverine Outdoors, Inc.Inventors: Shaun Michael Bohnsack, Clark A. Patent number: 10429499Abstract: The present invention provides a sensor system for measuring a parameter (e.g. volume, temperature or pressure) of a target, the system comprising a diaphragm, a sensor for measuring the axial spacing between the sensor and the diaphragm, and an axially adjustable mount. The mount has a first axial end for mounting the diaphragm which is axially movable relative to the sensor and an opposing, second axial end which is axially fixed relative to the sensor. The diaphragm and mount define a chamber for receiving the target or for being received within the target. In use, the axial spacing between the first axial end and the second axial end of the mount and thus the axial spacing between the diaphragm and sensor varies as a result of a change in the parameter differential across the diaphragm.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2017Date of Patent: October 1, 2019Assignee: ROLLS-ROYCE PLCInventors: Francis Bridge, Martin A Smith, Bob E Wilson
