    Abstract: A system for provenance aware editing for propagating edits back to spreadsheets is provided. The system receives an indication of an operation to be performed at an output location. The operation indicates one or more input locations on a spreadsheet that each provides an input value. The input values are accessed and tagged with their corresponding input location on the spreadsheet. Based on the operation and the input value from each of the one or more input locations, the system derives and displays the result at the output location. A user edit to the result is received at the output location, which causes transmission of a propagation request to change the input value at one or more of the tagged input locations. Using where-provenance associated with the tagged input locations, the system propagates the user edit to one or more of the tagged input locations.

The method may also collect individual user data and context data periodically, including characteristic behavior data, and update the machine learning algorithm with the individual user data. The method may further calculate a threshold for tolerance based on the updated algorithm, and verify user requests for access to the service. A multi-factor authentication may be presented to the user when the verifications are not acceptable, such as by being below a threshold. A permissions data structure can be generated and used to control access to the service.

    Abstract: Various embodiments relate to forming particles using undercooled metal particles in response to focused low power laser light. Particle growth can be initiated by utilizing the metastable and liquid nature of the particles, allowing for surface instability promoted by the laser light to induce liquid flow to translate to a neighboring particle. This event can cascade radially leading to accumulation of the liquid metal at the epicenter. The grown solidified particle size can be varied by using different power, exposure time, or working distance. Once the liquid has accumulated into a single region, it eventually solidifies either through homogeneous or heterogeneous nucleation to give a solid particle of larger size than the original. Such a method can be used to print patterns on a surface in four dimensions, where the fourth dimension (4D) is attained through gradient in size of the particles made. Additional systems and methods are disclosed.
