  • Publication number: 20170220217
Abstract: In a non-limiting example of the present disclosure, an exemplary table of contents slide may be displayed for a slide deck of a presentation program. The table of contents slide may comprise one or more sections of grouped slides for the slide deck. A selection of a section link may be received. The section link links the table of contents slide to a section of grouped slides. An exemplary presentation program may navigate the slide deck to a first slide of the section based on the received selection. When the navigation of the section is completed, the presentation program returns the slide deck to one of: the table of contents slide and the first slide of the section. Other examples described relate to creation and rendering of an exemplary table of contents slide and/or section links within an exemplary table of contents slide of a presentation program.

  • Publication number: 20170220232
Abstract: Technology is disclosed herein that enhances the user experience with presentation programs and the operational aspects of such programs. In an implementation, a presentation program includes a hierarchy of parent slides and child slides in a collection of slides. Navigating from a parent slide to a child slide triggers a contextual zoom-in transition into the child slide. Navigating back to the parent slide from the child slide triggers a contextual zoom-out transition to the parent slide. Other non-limiting examples describe smart slide functionality of an exemplary presentation program. A smart slide is a slide of a slide deck that comprises one or more slide links, which provide an active link to another slide of the slide deck.

  • Publication number: 20160304250
Abstract: In one aspect, a dispenser is provided herein for dispensing flowable material, such as sunscreen lotion, including a resiliently deformable body encompassing a closed volume with an optional flexible pouch disposed therein to accommodate the flowable material. A discharge element is also provided having at least one discharge opening, along with at least one valve regulating flow from the closed volume or the flexible pouch and through the discharge opening. The body is configured so that a threshold amount of deformation of the body causes the flowable material to urge from the closed body through the discharge opening or the pressure increase of the closed volume acting on the flexible pouch sufficiently so that flowable material accommodated in the flexible pouch is urged therefrom through the discharge opening. Advantageously, the dispenser of the subject invention allows for a generally isobaric environment to be created which acts evenly about the flexible pouch.

  • Patent number: 9422824
Abstract: Thermal control is provided for a gas turbine casing by supplying thermal control gas from a compressor to a space between an outer casing and an inner casing, and transferring the thermal control gas from the space through the opening in the inner casing via a plurality of holes defined through a plate attached to an outer surface of the inner casing. The holes are arranged with a predetermined non-uniform distribution corresponding to a desired preferential impingement pattern for providing non-uniform heat transfer. A gas turbine thermal control assembly includes structure providing preferential heat transfer from the inner casing during operation of the gas turbine via a thermal control gas flow path from radially outside of the inner casing into the interior of the gas turbine.

  • Publication number: 20160185041
Abstract: Thermoplastic 3D objects are printed directly onto permeable materials with a high strength bond. The 3D object can be attached to the permeable material at one side where the bottom layer of the 3D object can be attached to the permeable material or alternatively, at an internal layer where portions of the 3D object are on opposite sides of the permeable material. In order to improve the adhesion of the 3D object to the permeable material, the bonding layer of the liquid thermoplastic material that is printed directly onto the permeable material can be deposited at modified 3D printer settings that can include a hotter than normal material deposition temperature. Additional build layers of the liquid thermoplastic material are printed on the bonding layer to complete the 3D objects.
