    Abstract: Various embodiments of a vortex hybrid motor are described herein. In some embodiments, the vortex hybrid motor may include a housing with a solid propellant positioned within the housing, and an injector ring positioned at a proximal end of the housing. The injector ring can include a plurality of angled injector units each including a first injector and a second injector angled towards an impingement point. A first fluid stream of a liquid propellant dispensed from the first injector can collide with a second fluid stream of the liquid propellant dispensed from the second injector to atomize the liquid propellant and form a spray fan formation. At least one of the first injector and the second injector can be positioned at an injection angle relative to the sidewall to create a swirl flow of the atomized injector fluid.

    Abstract: Apparatus and method to access external vehicle cargo carriers and cargo are disclosed for moving cargo from a vehicle's roof to the vehicle's hood and returning the cargo to the roof for storage. A particular embodiment consists of using existing vehicle external roof-rack mounts and cargo carriers to allow mobile crossbars to deliver the cargo carrier and the cargo to a position at the front of the vehicle. A self-contained control system provides locomotive force to deploy and retrieve the cargo carrier and cargo. A human interface is used to control the apparatus and includes manual checks to ensure safe use. The apparatus can be used without a control system and operated manually.

    Abstract: Dynamically calculating and re-calculating priority values for a set of microservices that are deployed and run in a containerized environment. Before new priority values are assigned to the microservices, an initial default priority value is assigned to a microservice of interest. When the microservice of interest is deployed and run in the containerized environment, the generated telemetry data is used, in part, as a basis to determine a frequency in which any given microservice is being utilized, and more particularly, the microservice of interest. Based upon the determined frequency, a role for the microservice of interest can be inferred. As a result, this inferred role for the microservice of interest is used to dynamically assign a current priority value for the microservice of interest.
