  • Publication number: 20190312391
Abstract: A system comprises a first plug connector module and a second plug connector module. The plug connector modules each have at least two contact elements. The first plug connector module has at least one spring link. In the unplugged state, the at least one spring link connects the at least two contact elements of the first plug connector module electrically conductively to each other. A method for plugging a first plug connector module with a second plug connector module is based on the first and the second plug connector modules being guided toward each other in the plug-in direction. A sliding element of the second plug connector module presses against at least one spring link of the first plug connector module and, as a result, the at least one spring link is brought out of touching contact with at least two associated socket contacts.

  • Publication number: 20190310162
Abstract: The present teaching includes a speed control of a side shaft of a drive train connected to a dynamometer on a drive train test stand in which a torque (MFxi) caused by the longitudinal force (FXi) calculated in a simulation model is additionally transferred to the control unit, and from this a compensation torque (MKi) is calculated in the control unit as a function of the longitudinal force (FXi) caused by the torque (MFxi) and a deviation (AJi) between a moment of inertia (JBi) of the dynamometer and a moment of inertia (JRi) of the simulated vehicle wheel, the control unit calculates a torque (MREi,) from the setpoint speed (nBi,set) with a speed controller and a torque (MBi,soll) to be set with the dynamometer is calculated as the sum of the compensation torque (MKi) and the torque (MREi) calculated by the speed controller and set by the dynamometer.

  • Publication number: 20190233510
Abstract: The subject invention relates to isolated proteins, particularly monoclonal antibodies, which bind to the Nogo-66 receptor. Specifically, these antibodies have the ability to inhibit the binding of the natural ligand of the Nogo-66 receptor and neutralize the Nogo-66 receptor. These antibodies or portions thereof of the invention are useful for detecting NgR and for inhibiting NgR activity, for example in a human suffering from a disorder in which NgR or Nogo-66 activity is detrimental.

  • Publication number: 20190168955
Abstract: A device dilutes an aerosol without distortion due to loss of particles, especially liquid particles, on wall surfaces. An inlet pipe feeds aerosol as inlet aerosol and an outlet pipe has an inlet opening arranged at a finite distance from an outlet end of the inlet pipe. An annular space surrounds an end area of the inlet pipe. A clean gas line opens, via an outlet opening, into the annular space. A process is provided including feeding the aerosol as inlet aerosol through the inlet pipe, with particle-free clean gas fed to an end area of the inlet pipe and mixed with the fed inlet aerosol into a diluted outlet aerosol. The diluted outlet aerosol is sent to a measuring device. The mass flow of the aerosol sent to the measuring device and that of the added clean gas are maintained at a fixed ratio.

  • Patent number: 10309496
Abstract: A belt drive and a method for the monitoring thereof allows conclusions to be drawn regarding loads to which the belt has been subjected over its past usage period. The method includes a rotatably mounted disc and a belt which is deflected at the disc. The belt and the disc are equipped with a marking and are positioned with respect to each other such that the markings are directly opposite each other in a trigger position when the belt circulates around the disc. The trigger position is recorded by a monitoring device, which emits a signal when the markings are located in the trigger position. The number of signals triggered over a time period is recorded. The loads to which the belt or the disc have been subjected during the time period is determined while taking into consideration relevant influencing variables.

  • Publication number: 20190162636
Abstract: A process dilutes an aerosol by feeding an input aerosol through an inlet pipe surrounded by an annular space to a first mixing stage. An output aerosol leaves purified via an outlet as a particle-free clean gas. The particle-free clean gas is fed to the annular space upstream of the outlet and is mixed with the aerosol. A mixing stage includes an inlet pipe feeding aerosol as inlet aerosol. A downstream purification device purifies outlet aerosol leaving the mixing stage via an outlet pipe to form the particle-free clean gas. A mass flow controller and a pump suction off the outlet aerosol from the outlet pipe. A return line, for the clean gas, leads upstream into the annular space.

  • Publication number: 20190084191
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing drive belts from different materials by means of casting processes. To this end, a mould core and an outer mould of a casting tool are provided. The circumferential surface of the mould core or the inner circumferential surface of the outer mould is provided with a geometry to be represented on the drive belt. A textile layer is laid on the geometry. The mould core is set into the outer mould so that the mould core and the outer mould define a cavity between them. Optionally, a tension member can be arranged in the cavity and the cavity can be sealed with respect to the environment at least in the region of the geometry to be represented on the drive belt. The textile layer is applied to the surfaces defining the geometry and an elastomer base material is introduced into the cavity.
