Abstract: A shelter system including a base assembly and a flexible support assembly where the base assembly has two legs that are held together by at least two tension straps and the where the flexible support assembly has flexible support members and spanning poles and where the flexible support members of the flexible support assembly are securely attached to the base assembly at each end of the base system legs and where the entire flexible support assembly is then erected and covered, creating a self standing shelter system.

Abstract: A versatile and portable cargo carrier having angularly adjustable members adaptable to various uses and cargo, including recreational, construction, landscaping and other equipment, tools and supplies of diverse sizes and shapes, comprising a base plate and mounting member attachable to a corresponding surface on a vehicle from which two adjustably angled arm members extend outwardly at an angle from the mounting member, a pivoting mechanism for adjusting the angle between the two arm members and one or more cargo fasteners employing fastening mechanisms suitable for corresponding equipment or cargo, and may include a mounting bar. This easily assembled and installed cargo carrier further provides a frame for attachment about a hitch, spare tire, hatchback, and includes mounting members including a base plate, hat bracket, rotational swivel or pivoting tilt base which can be combined with the two angular members enabling facile loading and fastening of cargo.

Abstract: A lightweight bicycle carrier that is easily adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of sizes and shapes of bicycles and other equipment. The bicycle carrier of the present invention is easily assembled and installed onto the hitch receiver of a vehicle. The bicycle carrier can also be partially disassembled to allow access into the rear of the vehicle without interfering with the vehicle tailgate. The bicycle carrier includes adjustable angular support arms to support bicycles during transport.

Abstract: A fastener assembly for securing two components to one another. The fastener assembly includes a barrel or pin that has a radially extending hole in the barrel. The pin also has a reduced diametrical portion on at least one end to form a shoulder and possibly on both ends. The pin is inserted into a hole formed into a hollow or sandwich component. The shoulder engages against a wall on the component to orient and secure the pin in the hole. A threaded fastener is then inserted transversely through the two components to engage in the radially extending hole. The threaded fastener is then rotated to secure the two components to one another.

Abstract: A modular structure and method of creating a modular structure where the structure has a cover made from a corrugated, lightweight material, at least one end wall and at least one corner connection means where the cover has at least one channel cut therein and where the end wall is inserted into the channel so that the cover wraps around the end wall to form a structure, and where at least one corner connection means connects and secures the cover to the end wall.

The bicycle includes a seat assembly 70 that supports the anterior pelvic region so the rider extends forwardly over the bicycle instead of in an upright position. The bicycle also includes a rear mounted drive assembly 80 to increase the power transfer from the rider.

The shipping container is used to form the surfaces of the trailer.

Abstract: A crate system for transport of items. The system includes a set of U shaped tubes that are mounted in an upright position on beams. A second set of U shaped tubes are also mounted in an upright position on beams. Each assembled set are then mounted on top of one another to form a crate system. The crate system can safely secure and even stack heavy items on top of one another. These crate systems can then be disassembled for packing and shipping back to the original shipper.

Abstract: A hitch pin securing system for receiver mounted accessories. The present invention provides a device for securely clamping a shank tube to a receiver tube. This securing device minimizes the rattling and relative movement of the shank tube and the receiver tube due to the clearance between the shank tube and the receiver tube. The securing device includes a threaded nut or bushing mounted within the shank tube. A hitch pin is inserted through the receiver tube and shank tube and engages the shank tube nut. A locking handle is used to tighten the hitch pin relative to the shank tube nut. Once the hitch pin is tight, the handle is pivoted relative to the hitch pin to cause a cam surface to tighten the shank tube nut against the shank tube which forces the shank tube in tight engagement against the receiver tube.

A ramp system is formed in a similar manner that can be mounted onto the cargo carrier.

Abstract: A support system for tents and other shelters. The support system includes base support members that are in the shape of an arch. These base support members are secured in a desired configuration by an upper support member that is in the shape of a circle or other geometrical shape. A roof support may be added as well. The size and configuration of the shelter may be easily changed by adding or deleting the number of base support members.
