  • Patent number: 6577208
Abstract: Disclosed is a radio frequency filter used for a mobile communication apparatus such as a mobile phone, having an inductor component, a capacitor component, and a resistor component formed of a conductor pattern. The filter includes the conductor pattern formed on the surface of dielectric layer, and an adjusting layer for adjusting the frequency characteristic of the filter formed so as to cover at least a part of the conductor pattern. In the radio frequency filter, the conductor pattern is formed and sintered, followed by adjusting the frequency characteristic of the filter. Accordingly, in the radio frequency filter, the yield of the manufacture is improved. Further, the electrode layer can be single-layered by using extra-thin lines for the conductor pattern and interdigital electrodes for the capacitor. As a result, it is possible to make the filter smaller and thinner by using intaglio-printing technique and thin-film forming technique.

  • Patent number: 5751771
Abstract: The present invention provides a waveform data compression apparatus which can express waveform data by a small amount of compression data obtained by compressing the aforesaid waveform data, and a waveform data expansion apparatus which can reproduce the compression data produced by the aforesaid waveform data compression apparatus to obtain the original waveform data. The. waveform data compression apparatus interpolates waveform data of addresses before and behind the waveform data of an objective address in a block to be processed to acquire interpolated data of the objective address to be processed, and uses difference data between the interpolated data and the waveform data of the objective address to be processed, thereby compressing the waveform data. The waveform data expansion apparatus operates to perform reverse process to that performed by the waveform data compression apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5258670
Abstract: A LTQ (light triggered & quenched) static induction thyristor circuit of the present invention is to provide a LTQ static induction thyristor circuit obtaining an excellent dv/dt capability and operating ambient temperature characteristics, a large optically controllable current capability, and simple structure. A main static induction thyristor turns on when its gate receives an optically triggering pulse and causes a current to flow through a load from a positive terminal of a power supply. A photothyristor turns on when its gate receives an optically quenching pulse and causes the gate to a negative power supply voltage to turn off. At this point, a first resistor functions in such a manner as to hold turned on for a predetermined time period even after application of has been ended. By the flow of such current through a first resistor, the gate is biased to a negative voltage.

  • Patent number: 4072945
Abstract: A radar-operated collision avoidance system for a roadway vehicle comprises a radar device for sensing the vehicle speed relative to an object and its distance thereto to decide whether the vehicle is approaching the object at a dangerously high speed. A minimum allowable distance represented by a digital code is stored in a memory location within an array of rows and columns and read out in response to a sensed vehicle speed relative to the roadway and to a sensed magnitude of steering movement. The minimum allowable distance is compared with the distance sensed by the radar to determine that the decision is valid only when the latter is smaller than the former.
