  • Patent number: 5633042
Abstract: In a process for manufacturing a prepreg for use as an electrically insulating material, a main epoxy resin composition and a subsidiary resin composition containing a hardener which have been separately filtered and metered are quickly mixed into a mixture resin composition, a reinforcing member is coated with a uniformly thin film of the mixture resin composition by a die coater under specific temperature, average residence time and low shear conditions, the coated reinforcing member is heated in non-contact manner by an infrared ray heater to have the member impregnated with the resin composition of the film, the member is further heated in non-contact manner by a floating dryer to have the resin composition semi-hardened, and the member is unified through compaction rolls, whereby the prepreg in the form of a sheet-shaped fiber reinforced composite material is continuously manufactured.

  • Patent number: 5512769
Abstract: A high breakdown voltage semiconductor device is constituted, in either a semiconductor substrate or a lightly doped well diffused layer having deep diffusion depth, of a heavily doped diffused layer as a heavily doped drain diffused layer, a lightly doped diffused layer having deeper diffusion depth that the heavily doped diffused layer, and a lightly doped diffused layer adjacent to the heavily doped diffused layer called as an offset diffused layer. The heavily doped diffused layer functions as a part of the drain diffused layer, and has depth around 0.3 to 0.6 micron meter, and impurity concentration of 10.sup.19 to 10.sup.20 impurities/cm.sup.3. The width of the heavily doped diffused layer is set to 4 to 5 micron meters or greater. If the width of the heavily doped diffused layer is set less than this value, the breakdown voltage at an edge is lowered, and thereby impairment of the breakdown voltage occurs. The lightly doped diffused layer also functions as a part of the drain diffused layer.

  • Patent number: 5239197
Abstract: This invention relates to a semiconductor device comprising an N-type semiconductor substrate, an intermediate breakdown voltage part comprised of a first P-type diffusion layer formed in the N-type semiconductor substrate, a high breakdown voltage part comprised of a second P-type diffusion layer formed in the N-type semiconductor substrate, and a transistor circuit part formed in the N-type semiconductor substrate. According to the invention, a semiconductor device capable of simultaneously forming plural functioning devices in a single semiconductor substrate, causing hardly any short channel effect, is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4987030
Abstract: A conjugated fiber having a sheath-core conjugated structure comprising a polyester core component composed mainly of polyethylene terephthalate and a polyamide sheath component composed mainly of polyhexamethylene adipamide, is disclosed, which has excellent mechanical properties such as a high tenacity, a high modulus, and an improved dimensional stability, and an improved adhesion to a rubber, especially a high-temperature adhesion, an improved heat resistance in a rubber, and a high fatigue resistance, and thus is useful as an industrial material. By adopting a high-speed spinning procedure in the fiber preparing process, the peel resistance in the interface of the sheath-core conjugated structure is greatly improved, and the following valuable characteristics not possessed by conventional conjugated yarns can be obtained:(1) Excellent adhesion and high-temperature adhesion comparable to those of a polyamide, which cannot be obtained in a polyester.
